Decent. Comfortable. Nice ambiance. You can only order via QR code. No foods on display or buffet style. The Bruschetta is a sad looking and tasting starter. The Thai coconut curry was also on the same lines … bogus. You might be safe with the cheese board. Given Virgin Atlantic’s reputation this lounge does not do it any favors. At least the coffees are OK.
Fantastic lounge. One of the best I’ve been to — small, but wonderful staff and bartenders and food and beverage selection is excellent. Great views of international gates and taxiway.
This place is AMAZING for lounge standards. Delicious a la carte food, great bar and delicious coffee! Highly recommended! The by far the best lounge I’ve been to in SFO airport, and I’ve been to a few. Note to PP/LK/DP customers: the place is relatively small and I was only let in after a Virgin Atlantic flight took off so I wouldn’t occupy space of their passagens. Don’t count on getting in anytime!
Clean and well-kept lounge with an online food/drink ordering system. We my SO and I were let in with no wait at around 6pm with an Amex Platinum Priority Pass. The food was fine to good, and we were pleasantly surprised at how good the teriyaki chicken burger was. Pretty good WiFi access, too.
Exceeded expectations. Possibly the best lounge at SFO Intl. Departures. As a disclaimer, I believe this was likely my first time at an airline specific lounge Accepted into lounge using AMEX Platinum and Virgin Atlantic ticket not upper class. This was towards the evening. Staff encountered technical issues at first trying to process the card. I am unsure if I would have been rejected if they had failed to process it as other reviewers have noted. Lounge was also fairly occupied. Most tables, and chairs were in use, but was still able to find a place. Ordered food, and drinks through their staff as their online system was experiencing issues. You can order anything on the menu - not a buffet style. Only major criticism of this lounge was that it took a very, very long time almost an hour for my food to come out. In fact, one of my order did not show up by the time I had to leave to board my plane. Otherwise, the food, and drinks were great. Even with the tardiness, I prefer this over buffet style lounges. Again, probably the best I personally had at a lounge. Staff were very attentive. There was WiFi, as expected. Toilets inside, but limited. General area very clean.
Great lounge for amex members. Good food and drinks selection. Centurion lounge was a disappointment due to their irregular hours and renovation, at least here I could make my amex platinum worth it
December 2022 edit: lounge not accepting AmEx Platinum guests due to an incoming flight July 2022: Best airport lounge I’ve ever been to. Views of the water. Awesome cocktails, great and diverse menu, plus excellent service. Available to AmEx Plat members as well.
This is what Lounge should look like! Chicken sandwich was very tasty, coffees, cocktails and deserts all very good quality and delicious. Ordering from the table using QR code is the best thing ever, hope they will never replace it with buffet style…
Good food. Great views of the tarmac. They do accept Amex Plat but they seem to have a low quota so you may be turned away if the lounge is "too full" saw folks get turned away just after I got in and the lounge definitely wasn't full. Ability to order food and drinks to your table via QC code so no buffet, but you can order as much as you like off of the a la carte menu
Excellent, clean lounge with fast and friendly service, great food, and tasty tiki cocktails. Modern decor with a relaxed vibe. Easy access with a Venture X card. Wife and I ordered a 3-course meal and drinks via QR code and felt refreshed before our flight to Europe.
