Through applied medical research, policy and advocacy and outcomes-based funding, we focus on studying, developing and advancing scalable, sustainable and more affordable healthcare delivery models that enable seniors to successfully age.
West Health includes the nonprofit and non-partisan Gary and Mary West Health Institute and the Gary and Mary West Health Policy Center. We collaborate with the Gary and Mary West Foundation and all have a singular focus on enabling successful aging.
We are developing scalable and sustainable home- and community-based healthcare delivery models that enable successful aging, conducting research to validate their effectiveness, and identifying appropriate corresponding payment systems. Our goal is to have these models serve as a catalyst for broader adoption of improved care for seniors in San Diego and across the nation.
