Worthington Community Center

In just the few moments I was there to deliver food to one of their members, I experienced the rudeness of the front desk. There is enough bad attitude in the world and that lady just adds to it. They should hire someone who has a sunnier disposition and a pleasant demeanor. The lady on the right; she’s the worst. You’d think a town with such a high reputation would have the foresight that poor representation warrants poor reviews. It’s sad, really. Keep up the “good” work.

I work at a preschool/daycare and we enjoyed a field trip here today. This facility was not only amazingly clean especially for a public pool but had very attentive and friendly staff. Smiling and interacting with the kids that had any questions but maintaining focus on their job. The lifeguards went above and beyond using their intercom to let all of our group know it was time for them to leave the pool and line up in their designated meeting place. Overall considering the whole pool is in one giant room with doors and you're able to see every part of the place from anywhere it was the best experience I or any of the kids that got to participate could have had that day. Definitely planning on returning during my off time and enjoying the whirlpool and slide some more!

Absolutely love this place we visited for my daughters birthday with a few of her friends and they had a blast! I love how there is a section for smaller children as well! Staff is very friendly and helpful would definitely go there again and recommend this place!

The gym is good for a Rec center. It has everything necessary and is never too crowded. The pool is really nice for laps and recreation and the rest of the facilities are great too. I wish I could play basketball here more freely but that’s about it.

Took my children swimming the other day and have never felt so micro managed. It completely took the fun out of swimming. A lifeguard is defined as an “expert swimmer employed to rescue people who get into difficulty while swimming” it is not someone who micro manages or acts as the parent of other kids. I am completely appalled by the way the staff handled a not very busy pool. A huge bummer since we’ve been going to the Worthington Rec for several years. Will definitely look elsewhere.

super sweet staff, kid friendly and lots to do! Its also fairly priced to go to the pool for the day. Pricing is about $10 per person which is very good considering they have a slide, kiddie pools, whirlpool, and lazy river. plus lap lanes for adults. definitely do check it out if you have kids and are in the area!

Loved it! The price was cheap, the slide was fun, and the whirlpool was very fast. The small toddler area had many different things to do on it and kept my 2 year old interested. Definitely recommend to anyone with kids!

We love this community center. They have a little bit of everything for every age group. I like the fact that you don't have to be a member of the community to visit here... You can pay a small fee for an all day pass. You can also leave and come back the same day without paying an additional fee. The pool is awesome. The kids love the slide and the whirlpool. I enjoy the work out machinery. You can also rent a party room here. The locker rooms are clean. We always have fun here!!
