We love the vibe here. It is a place where we catch up on what it is to be urban. The patrons, the pedestrians passing by. The music, the food and the fashions. We booked a table at the entrance. There was a little gas fire on the go next to us. A few scotches and soda and a giant gin cocktail Blueberries and Raspberries and then a shared Asian Belly of Pork and a Chicken platter for two. The Chicken Platter is very good value for money. It is huge. Three or four could feast on the platter. A very enjoyable evening.
Great restaurant. Aesthetically pleasing, good food and variety of drinks. Our waiter was top notch and was able to make us overcome the challenges we had with seating arrangements/ table hence the missing star …the lady who is in charge of seating arrangements was a bit hostile to us. Took my wife out for our 17th anniversary. Beautiful place with a great atmosphere. Food was good and the prawn pasta a definite winner. 3 stars because I felt the waiter was not very helpful or he had more VIP customers and we was in his way. No complimentary bread basket but we noticed other customers receiving theirs.Service is important irrespective and customer profiling should be prohibited by staff.
The place is amazingly clean, relaxing and in good spot. You can visit alone to have a peace of mind, and you can also visit with friends and family.
It was amazing, the food and the platters where filling and delicious. The drinks are either refreshing or delightful. I went there after 6 so I had a change of atmosphere. We had made a booking for 8 and asked for a specific table and the waiter was sure to write the table number as well. When we arrived our table was not available, and we got placed in the den where we had to wait long to place an order. The service was poor and the waiter completely forgot about us at some point. Was not at all happy with my experience there.
Great Atmosphere! Definitely vibey & upbeat! Barmen are professional & friendly Menu is abit limited… I would say this is where you go to drink! & unwind…
The food is good. The service was decent. Prices are on the high end. The reason for the 1-star rating is that my bill was more than the sum of the items on the bill. When I queried it, I was told that the hidden charge was for "extras" like avocado on the salad. The salad was the side for the prawns main, and the"extras" were never asked for, so the hidden charge really irritated me, and tainted my view of the place. I have never got charged a hidden fee for extras at any other restaurant I've visited. Why not just put it on the bill? I suspect because it's a shady business practice. I won't be returning.
The restaurant was packed to the bream we had to sit on the outside deck which is ideal for summer! Not for winter or rainy day like when we were there as it can be cold and they don't even provide a heater. Otherwise the food and drinks are on point just a little pricey if may say that. But they do need to give attention to their ton menus it not nice to see what to eat on a menu that falling apart. Well and the music was too loud for my liking.
Went there with my wife for drinks on a Saturday. Even though it wasn't too busy the service outside was quite slow. I'm a huge fan of cocktails and the creations on their menu sounded delicious and got me excited. Unfortunately, the drinks were sub-standard. I understand that flavour combinations and tastes are personal preferences, but all of the five signature cocktails we tried were overly sweet, unbalanced and poorly executed. The menu suggests that you're in for real treat which for me set certain expectations that we're definitely not met in the end. It tasted a lot like they use premixes. One of the cocktails a gin fizz ended up having cream in it even though it wasn't mentioned on the menu. We had to send it back and reorder without the cream as my wife can't have dairy. When I tried to play it safe and deviate from the cocktail menu to order a classic rum sour, the waiter told me that it's not possible. Despite it being a disappointing experience overall, I think there's a lot of potential here. I hope they will work on improving their cocktail game so that you get served what is advertised on the menu and the quality of the drinks match the exclusive vibes and pretty setup of the place.
