Great restaurant and delicious food. service was tentative and not over bearing. Food was tasty with one of the dishes being a bit cold which they fixed in a heartbeat. Menu is extensive and we will definitely be back to try other dishesFood: 5/5
1904 was a good experience for our first time going there. The food was good and they got very friendly staff. We had the date night special with 3 course meals and a bottle of wine. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! The only problem we had was that our waiter seemed very forgetful as she didnt bring us our requested drinks and she also forgot to clean up the wine she spilled on our table. Other than that it was a good experience.
This is the second time we have been to 1904 , and again , they did not disappoint . Frederick our Waiter was Amazing and Nigel , the Front of House Manager , very attentive . The Head Chef came to our table twice to check that we were happy . The food was stunning , even though I don't normally order Burgers , mine was the tastiest I have ever had . We even ordered the Voodoo wings and Prawn Appetiser as take outs because we were so impressed . Keep up the Good work and see you in 7 months when I am back in the Country
Atmosphere amazing, service out of this world.... The food was ridiculously delicious I could have some more if I had an extra stomach. That Prisoners platter was something else. Those ribs just fell off the bone, the pulled pork was amazin. I have never had ribs that good. The balance from the smoke, the sauce and the spice rub you could taste everything. My wife couldn't stop talking about her meal, Chef's Dave Manhattan. The steak was perfectly cooked as per her instructions and the sauce was amazing. We will definitely going back very soon.
Had the Valentines day set menu and all I can say is WOW! . The créme brulée was the best I ever had, the steak with Dijon mustard sauce was cooked to perfection and the cut of meat was excellent. The pork bomb starter and the beef phyllo pastry was absolutely tasty. I would give this place 10 stars if I could because 5 stars isn't enough.
This place is absolute heaven. The food is a solid 10/10. Customer service is just as good. The drinks are sooo good. It lives up to its reputation. It's definitely a place worth traveling for. Thank you to Wandile for making our experience pleasant.Food: 5/5
My family and I had an awesome time. It was my son's birthday and our waiter, Isaac, went out of his way to make our evening more special. Our meal consisted of the mussel starter together with chicken wings. Everything was sumptuously prepared. This was the perfect set-up for our mains. Again, our food was incredibly well prepared and this resulted in tender, flavourful meat.
Amazing Food, Drinks & Atmosphere! The food is absolutely amazing, lamb shank was falling off the bone, pulled pork bombs were amazing, streak soft like butter, service was great, Freddie our waiter was soo pleasent & helpful! Would definitely recommend this restaurant & i will definitely go back again! Kid-friendliness: Definitely Kid Friendly! Parking: Lots of parking, free and safe!
Restaurant is lovely and clean. Very comfortable but the waitress was terrible. She would go for hours, just to bring you water, pity we were forced to give her tip. She even dropped my knife and I had to wait for more than 15 minutes for another oneFood: 5/5
