The food here was good. I like the atmosphere. Some of the meat was a bit tough, that being said I loved the food. Everything had such good flavor. I would definitely eat here again. If your visiting the area, it has to be on the list. A true African food experience.
The platters are quite big and the lady who was serving us did not explain this fact properly. We ordered more than enough food for 2 people. Service and the food were good.
Went there for the first time on a Saturday night, expecting a bit of a vibe. Was disappointed to find that it was practically empty, just us and another table. Our waitress, Queen was disinterested, in a bad mood and admitted to being tired and sick so she was just over being at work when we asked why she was so sour. The only plus was the food and background music. The meat was tender and the sides were DELICIOUS! Would go there again purely for the food.
I had a terrible experience. It was a Friday night and we were the only guests. The meat was RAW including the chicken which was just disgusting. Then they had no mixers. We eventually had to call the manager and tell her to go to the shop at the petrol station and buy lemonade as we were running out of options. Its no rocket science really. Just stock up! Or make a plan!
