False advertising! Photos on google doesn't look like the shop. The accessories shop is only a small corner in what looks like a pawn shop. Wouldn't recommend anyone looking for decent gear to waste your time there. Was looking for lots of different gear. They didn't have any in my size and the ones they had the quality was poor with a ridiculous price tag. Got new gear for the same price.
Bunch of sharks all they want is your money not concerned about customer service. Almost 2 weeks to get a quote. Quote says deposit needed before work is done. When I say I dont accept the quote I'm told I must pay 2 hours labour for stripping. I didnt even have the bike and I managed to get part numbers and prices. Wont be back EVER!!!!
Absolutely great group of people who go out they're way to help and assist customers. Sourced brakepads no other ''big brand'' wanted to do. Will be supporting them from now on.
Fantastic shopping online at 2nd Gear the staff were informative and friendly . The website has a large selection of aftermarket parts and hot riding gear. The site is easy to navigate and has a simple but secure shopping cart. You can ordering via EFT or Credit card. The staff contacted me to confirm my order and within 3 working days my goods arrived via a private courier company. The 2nd Gear Staff made contact to insure my satisfaction of the products including emailing me a discount coupon for my next order All in All a Super Experience. ;}
I sold a whole lot of items to the store unfortunately I was emigrating so Kevin THE OWNER told me to leave the items with him and he would sort payment out by the end if the week, well almost 2 months later he cant pay be very careful when dealing with this family run business as they are a bunch of sharks.
Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.. Kevin is the rudest guy in that shop.. He doesnt know how to speak to customers. Took my bike there to change a piston, told him to change everything in the engine, he only changed main bearings, the bike broke down a month after, took it back and found out it broke one valve, he said he didnt change the valves after he was instructed to change everything in the bike..
What knowledgeable and helpful staff and owner. I felt confident that the advice I was given was genuine and accurate. People you can talk to and such good value.
Please do not buy anything from these people. My scooter has less than 1'000 kilometers and is falling apart. We took it back and were told in short it our problem and we shouldn't have. Bought Chinese . We are confused as this what they recommend what to buy. I will be reporting this to the CPA and a case of fraud. See you real soon.
Terrible experience - bought a bike, rode it from the store about 10km. Wouldn't start again. Took it back and had endless hassles to get 2nd gear to replace it. They wouldn't. Eventually had to contact Jonway themselves who took charge and gave us a brand new bike. On top of which they rip people off with their licensing charges and then didn't do it - eventually had to fight with them to get it done as they wouldn't refund the money. NEVER EVER USE 2nd gear - the staff seem okay but the Mother is a bad businesswoman with no customer / people skills. As a biker and a prominent part of the biking community my advice is DO NOT TOUCH 2nd GEAR!!!!!! They have also LOST their official dealership for Jonway! If there was a minus star I would click it..... TRY JUICE BIKES or Harley-Davidson if you want excellent service and quality.
