44 Stanley, Milpark, Johannesburg

"44 Stanley is a mixed use development that includes shops, restaurants, offices and other businesses. It is a green oasis with renovated industrial buildings that surround tree-filled courtyards. Although the centre has core trading hours - some businesses, shops and restaurants may trade slightly differently - if there is a specific business you would like to visit please check with them if they are open."

Stunning little collection of alcoves offering great coffee and grub, clothes, proper shoe care for quality footwear, Atelier art, second hand books... A true Joburg gem.
The place demonstrates strong support for the community and boasts aesthetic with its industrial-chic architecture. The overall ambiance creates a trendy and inviting atmosphere. Would love to pay another visit when there are events hosted.
What a buzz, definitely be back, great restaurants and great food, beautiful part of JOZI had breakfast at My Salvation Cafe , service and food was great, had the cheese cake to take home, can see why they one best cheese cake in Jozi, will definitely be back. Stunning shops as well.
Absolutely gorgeous setting with a lot of amazing stores. Books, music, plants, food, etc. Most stores close early, be sure to check the trading hours
It's okay I would hardly rate today's one of the best coffee shops. As per as per Google and be careful. Some of the coffee shops close at 4:30. Mike's Heritage house down the road would be a better option. And they have an outside garden And better food
Kinda different place. Noticeable thing is, shops started with uniqueness in mind. I love my "afrique"ability now, so does this vibrant, rainbow nation. Viva 44 Stanly, viva la africa!
The atmosphere is very relaxing. Good for coffee, brunch or lunch dates. Good for a work meetings as well. They have an amazing coffee spot and restaurants, as well as a selection of clothing shops and furniture stores.
Such a great vibe here! I can recommend having lunch with friends or shopping fantastic skincare products at Glow Theory, a Korean skincare shop!
Overall it's a good space some good eating spaces and you can get accessories, shirts, nice tingz. Pity though they are priced at Melville, Waterfall prices considering the place is in front of a student living space and young first time working people.
44 Stanley is a really interesting place to visit. It is truly a gem in the city, both because of its vibey atmosphere and because of its aesthetic setup. It has lots of easy access parking both free and paid options, and is relatively easy to find. Despite this, 44 Stanley is not a place I would regularly come to for leisure or entertainment. It is very expensive. Tickets for the Bioscope are about R300 for 2 people including a pizza, and Peachy is R45 for a slider see attached picture. Personally I only thought that the ice cream shop Forest Gelato was reasonable at R38 for a scoop of ice cream but I was served 1,5 scoops. I did not indulge in the other stores there is stationery, ceramics, clothes, vinyls, and more. However, I will say that both the Library and the le’Elephant Terrible Bookshop are must sees.
