Africa on Foot is unique in the Kruger for offering proper walking safaris. In addition we have a sister camp called nThambo Tree Camp, which also offers affordable Kruger Safaris.

Staying at Africa on foot was an incredible experience. The chalets are nicely furnished and cosy and the outdoor showers adds to the overall experience. The camp is also very peaceful and right in the middle of the bush. The swimming pools are great to spend some time in between activities. The morning bush walk, and afternoon game drive are done with the most amazing guides you could wish for, they are incredible and passionate people and as excited as you are to see the animals thanks Luke & Tayler!. The food was plentiful and tasty, and all guests dine together, which adds to the unique experience. The location, the camp and the people who work here make it one of the best places I have ever stayed at. I cannot recommend it any more!
Africa on foot camp was a perfect lodge and experience for us. Located within a magic landscape, the rooms and infrastructure offer a super quality environment . Connie and her team welcame us with lots of attentions and I want to particularly mention the passionate rangers team who guided us during the incredible safaris we made. Thanks Meillie , Calvin, Tyler ... Food was amazing too and the cocktails at sunset in the bush completed our satisfaction ! We stayed at Africa on Foot for 3 nights and had a fantastic experience. The guides, Craig and Connie, were helpful, friendly & did everything they could to make our time incredibly memorable. The food was excellent. Nothing can replace walking through the bush and we will take the memories with us for ever, especially watching a leopard with her kill in a tree.
I had an amazing 4 days stay at Africa on Foot. The staff is really nice and makes you feel welcome and at home. We had great rangers, Isaac and Craig, who took us on walks and drive and taught us so many things about the local wildlife. The food was also great and they made sure there were vegetarian and vegan options too.
We just had an awesome experience at Africa on Foot. Everyone was very accommodating and professional. The manager, Nadia, makes you feel welcomed and ensure that your stay is comfortable. Chade, Mike and Michelle were are guide and they were friendly and knowledgeable! The entire lodge is nicely built and set up. Their alcohol selections are pretty darn impressive! I'd definitely recommend this place.
The AOF team were excellent and friendly. I will return again once my son is 5 years old so that I can introduce to this incredible lodge. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a real African experience! Special mention to Craig who was a super super guide. He took his time explaining all the fine detail to us and even woke us up one morning with a Johnny Clegg song. Thank you AOF team!
Africa on Foot is ideal for guests wanting an authentic safari experience, minus the frills. Loved the morning walks, the evening game drives and the atmosphere at camp. It's pretty small which means you don't have that annoying "hotel" feel. You actually walk away from your safari experience having felt like you have just done a ranger's course. Top experience at a well-run, affordable camp.
I would really recommend Africa on Foot! The staff is very welcoming and professional. We spotted a lot of animals zebra's, giraffes, elephants, rhino's and a leopard both by car and on foot. We learned so much about the animals and their tracks. The on foot experience was the most exciting! The accommodation has everything you need and the food is really good. When you go, make sure you have a reservation for a night in the treehouse!
Loved it most enjoyable place for everyone who doesn't mind a bit of moaquitoes, you can see lions, rhinos, elephants, leopards and cheetahs on safaris and the tower room is really enjoyable. All kinds of wildlife and a moderately good pool. Food is nice, it might even be my favorite place on the planet.
We had a wonderful stay. All the staff is very friendly and try to create an intimate experience
