We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bushbaby River Lodge. The Wildlife Estate was beautiful , peaceful and quiet. The accommodation was luxurious. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Easiest 5 out 5 star rating ever! Will definitely be back soon! Thanks for an unforgettable stay Bushbaby River Lodge.
Super friendly staff who went out of their way to help us with travel arrangements when we missed our connecting flight. Great location on a stopover to Kruger. Recommend!
What an amazing experience! From our arrival to checking out everything was flawless. Nomsa and Difference took care of our every request with great care and consideration. The food was delicious, the room was idyllic and we loved our walks in the wildlife estate. Thanks to Kim and Devin for all the recommendations, birding chats and your kind hospitality. Beautiful, luxurious and quiet. We spent two nights here on our honeymoon tour and it was such a lovely experience. Room amenities include: large, comfortable bed, mosquito nets, aircon, hairdryer, bathtub, outdoor shower, coffee machine, wifi. Lovely pool with loungers on the property. Quaint and romantic

Bush baby river lodge is amazing!! The owner Yvette and her staff are amazing! The "huts" hard to call them that because they are quite luxurious were gorgeous - huge stand alone bathtubs and outdoor shower! The food was delicious - home made croissants and fantastic omelets. We scheduled all our activities through Bush Baby and they did an excellent job of helping us choose and selecting the vendors. On the mornings we had early leaves we had a breakfast packed for us to take along. Can not speak highly enough about our experience at Bush Baby and if we ever get lucky enough to come back to South Africa we will definitely stay there!
A very cozy calming and tranquil place I ever experienced...I have stayed here for two nights booked by my agent I had the feeling of being at home the extra large bed gives you the freedom of enjoy your sleep The owners are very very friendly and helpful staff are adorable Wild animals roaming around are adorable to watch... But beware of monkeys do not leave your windows open and doors if you’re to go out please not that the lodge do not serve dinner. I love this place and I’ll definitely recommend it and I’ll definitely return.
I still have a big smile on my face when I think about our stay. The owners Yvette and Edgard seem to have thought about every single detail, which really makes the Bushbaby River Lodge a place we want to return to. The room feels even more spacious than expected from the photos, very clean and the bed is PERFECT! Falling asleep with a cry of an hyena in the background after a nice night around the fire. What else do you need? : But there is more: The breakfast is extensive and so so so delicious! So much to choose from and freshly made just for you. We really enjoyed the activities in the area, which they helped us choose and arrange. The pool area the relaxing beds are great! and the deck are nice to spend some of your lazy hours.

We have stayed in Bushbaby River Lodge for a part of our honeymoon, and this place, although listed as 4, really is a 5 star accommodation. The Leopard room is really spacious and luxurious, everything is really clean and the staff minds all little details like lighting candles on the deck in front of the room, when they expect you to arrive back to the lodge after a day tour. Yvette really went out of her way to arrange safaris and tours for us! We saw impala, wildebeast and even giraffe right outside our room, and at night you can hear hyenas cry. But the best thing about our stay must be the breakfast. Not a buffet, but made to order and served, what a choices, and delicious.
