Good step prior to great kruger. Lodge is nice with few rooms. Nicely decorated and with all comodities. Owner is Belgian. Good braai in the evening. A few antilopes, zebra and giraffe are reachable via a short walk 10/15muns then depends on your luck. Breakfast is ok. Secured small lodge and widlife estate

Best lodge ever. The staff is extremely fiendly and polite. The rooms are so nice and clean. You can enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner every evening. You can easily spot wild animals around the lodge, it's such an amazing experience! You can easily reach the Kruger Park or Blyde Canyon in less than an hour drive. We loved our stay at this lodge and would defintely come back.

We stayed here for one night before going to kruger. It is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The place itself is beautiful. The place is very close to trails you can walk through to see wildlife which is definitely a must while you stay here. The Braii they cooked for dinner was very delicious! One of the best meals of our honeymoon. They also packed us a bag for breakfast as they knew we were leaving early. We would love to come back to stay longer.

We stayed at African Rock Lodge for 4 nights. I can only agree with the many other guests with my opinion. 4 adults and a child 6 years felt very comfortable here. The host speaks several languages ​​and takes great care of his guests. The entire lodge is very tastefully decorated. A special praise goes to the dinner - highly recommended. The accommodation is a good starting point to visit the Panorama Route, the Kruger Park and also Jessica the hippo and Stoffel the honey badger. Should we return to the area - this is where we will stay again.
Juliet and Sander are amazing hosts! They will go out of their way to make sure that you are safe and having the best time. The lodge is stunning and the food is amazing. I will definately come back again. Rooms: 5/5
Was a great relaxing holiday at African Rock Lodge. Had amazing walks and cycled through the estate seeing beautiful wildlife. Thank you to Sander, Juliet and team you guys were great hosts and served really delicious breakfast. Will definitely be coming back in the future!Rooms: 4/5
The owners of this lodge are super friendly and want you to have a good time at their place. The room was really comfortable and the private patio attached to the room was a plus! Breakfast and dinner was really good as well. We booked a package with them to go to Kruger for one day with a guide and that was really nice as well. They also have bikes at their lodge and that was really great. We enjoyed the MTB ride and we saw lots of animals. Great experience.
