"‘Toro’ is a classic South African Big 5 Safari ‘Exclusive-Use’ lodge, meaning you, your family and friends will have one of our lodges and accompanying Game Drive Vehicle/s with Guide/s, all to yourselves. Here you will find the rest and peace you need after an exciting safari day in combination with personalized service and a warm welcome by our staff. Highly qualified guides take you on exciting game drives and share their extensive knowledge of the African bush with you. Our eight private safari chalets have been built on raised wooden platforms and have thatched roofs.· KING size bed & sleep-couch for kids 12 years old and under· En-suite bathroom, bath, outdoor shower· Double volume wardrobe area. Lounge area with fireplace."

This is a great Family take you on a Safari. Taylor the experience to your needs. The service is first class and the food is excellent again cooked to exactly what you want. Sitting around the fire in the evening recapping the day’s experience is a great part of the trip The elephants and hippos that come by the lodge only adds to the experience. Brad and Cindy are wonderful hosts taking care of absolutely everything, the camp and accommodation is fantastic. As you walk in you are immediately relaxed and ready for safari! The game viewing experience was truly sensational, Brad and Willem's extensive experience of the the African wildlife and the game reserve enabled our group to see the Big Five up close, a very special experience. From the early morning game drives to the late into the night exchange of animal sightings and stories around the campfire all is taken care! South Africa at its best, Thanks Brad, Cindy and Team for a wonderful famly holiday and experience.
Torro Lodge provided a fantastic experience for my family and me. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the warm and friendly welcome we received. The staff at Toro Lodge were attentive and made us feel right at home throughout our stay. The accommodations were excellent. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing us with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of our stay was the stunning natural surroundings. Toro Lodge is situated in a beautiful location, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time outdoors, taking in the picturesque views and participating in various activities organised by the lodge. The food at the lodge was delicious and varied. There were plenty of options for all dietary preferences, and we always looked forward to our meals. The staff was attentive, and the service was impeccable. Another aspect that stood out was the range of activities available for families. The lodge offered guided nature walks, wildlife spotting, and a fantastic pool overlooking the African bush. The kids were thoroughly entertained, and it was a joy to see them having so much fun. What made our experience at Toro Lodge truly special was the staff's dedication and hospitality. They went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable vacation. In conclusion, our family had an amazing time at Toro Lodge. The combination of excellent service, breathtaking surroundings, and exciting activities made it an unforgettable experience. We would highly recommend Toro Lodge to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable family getaway

What an incredible trip we had with Brad and Cindy. First class operation and a trip I’ll certainly never forget!
My family and I could not have had a better time. From the moment we got to Toro Lodge, we were greeted with smiles and amazing hospitality. Cindy, her family, and the staff were so welcoming. Hearing their personal stories about living on the reserve made the trip made the trip even better. The sightings were breathtaking and I felt safe knowing that I was with top notch, experienced rangers. I would 1000% recommend Toro Lodge!
Toro river lodges is unlike any place I have ever visited. Everything from the rooms, food to company is completely top of the line. The experience you get at Toro can’t be matched anywhere else. To see all of the big 5 animals up close from the comfort of a beautiful game vehicle in a place that is truly the last wild frontier of South Africa. My favorite experience other than the warm and comfortable lodge is being able to photograph some of the amazing animals that we saw. Lions elephants up close is truly incredible. I recommend this lodge over and over again!
My family and I had a wonderful 5 days at Toro. We saw the big 5 and even a Lion hunting and killing an Impala! The rangers and trackers are so knowledgeable and learnt so much about the wildlife. Food was excellent and staff are friendly offering a great service. Accommodation super comfortable and the outside shower is a must.Look forward to going back!
Another fabulous trip to Toro River Lodges! This is our 5th year coming and our experience with Cindy, Brad and the kids is always a special one. How lucky we were with the sightings this year - the cheetah right outside the camp was a very special one - who would have thought! Your hospitality and attention to detail was superb, as usual. We will be back, for sure! Thx again.
Our visit to Toro River Lodge was a super special family experience. The rooms were luxurious and private, the communal spaces comfortable and relaxed and the staff extremely knowledgeable about the area, animals and environment. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed the early morning and sunset game drives as well as relaxing during the day on our private verandas or at the pool or on the main deck overlooking the dam where animals could often be seen coming to drink. Lying in bed at night listening to all the animal calls was such a magical way to end the day... We will definitely be back!!!
