My wife and I stayed at Kapama Southern Camp in April 2023. We had an amazing time here. The service was excellent, the rooms were comfortable, the food was great, and the authentic atmosphere was awesome. The highlight of our stay here was our guide, Edwin. He was incredible and we had an amazing time with him. He was so knowledgeable, put us in great situations to see once in a lifetime animal activity, and was a pleasure to spend time with. I would highly recommend this camp, and would absolutely recommend Edwin as a guide to anyone staying here. He is the best!!
Visited in December with 3 kids. We had a private villa with pool. For us it’s a 5 star. We had a fantastic stay - everything was close to perfect. We saw the big 5, the food was incredible, the staff very polite and proactive. We recommend Kapama without any reserves. Thanks again ! We will be back !
Stayed for 5 days March 2023 and had the most amazing time. Michael & Tervin as guides - we saw the big 5 and so much more Miss Brenda our server was an absolute gem - she remembered which kind of water we liked, that my husband needed gluten feee foods. The rooms at River lodge were glorious / total pampering. Only negative was the glass walls around the toilet area. No privacy from rest of bathroom/dressing room Pools are clean and warmish Bar is well stocked and great wine lists Food was fresh and perfect proportions We hope to return one day soon
It was amazing experience! We were lucky to see all Big 5 animals, thanks to our tracker and ranger. The level of hospitality was 10 out 10. In the middle of nowhere in the wild nature you get unforgettable experience and service. I would say the best timing is to spend 2-3 full days there.
Amazing experience! Spent Almost 4 days here in July and loved it. Staff are phenomenal at accommodating a gluten free diet. Rangers are super knowledgeable + humor. Loved hearing hyenas in the middle of the night! Super cool experience! 10/10 would recommend!
Brilliant as always. Ever since our first visit we fell in love with Kapama. Yes they are premium priced, but that is exactly what you get! Premium experience. The food is out of this world, the game drives are second to none and the best part is the staff. You dont lift a finger, they are super informative, very polite and I get the idea that the owners treat them well. The Game guides join you fo for supper and makes for great company !
This experience was simply surreal. We've actually been in other safaris and we can say without a doubt that Kapama was the BEST place. The food was great and abundant. They make sure to meet all your dietary restrictions without affecting the quality. A special thanks to SERENA and NICHOLUAS. All thought Kapama has a decent size reserve, it is fair to say that you get some of the best sightings. We were able to see the big five within our first two days. They respect the animals and there space witch also allows you to have a good look at them without being overwhelmed by other tourists. Last but not least, the guides go above and beyond to give you the best experience. On the reserve, during breakfast lunch and dinner. A very special shout out to ST.JOHN. you can definitely feel the passion and learn SO MUCH from him. Thank you Kapama and thank you to the team that made our stay exceptional. Where to even start? 100% highlight of my trip, absolutely loved the entire experience at Kapama. Stayed at the buffalo camp for two nights, with easily the most hospitable, lovely staff, most luxurious camping and FANTASTIC guides who knew everything and are so personable shout out Jeff and Foster. Will be coming back here and bringing family!
I visited Kapama on a vacation with my parents. The game drives were fun and informative, with excellent guides. The amenities at Kapama are incomparable, with multiple pools, lounge areas, and a top notch spa. The food at Kapama is also amazing, so you'll never go hungry. We will remember our vacation at Kapama forever.Rooms: 5/5
