Your reservations clerk is rather pushy, sort of rude and not professional at all. He got a little rude and sarcastic when I wasn't to comfy to pay via card over the phone. I eventually decided to cancel and stay elsewhere. He reminded me his name is Bob if I want to lay a complaint. So here you go. I wouldn't recommend that type of service to anyone honestly.

Not too bad. The room, bed, food was good. Great atmosphere as well very natural. Keep it up. The key is maintenance and things won't break down and fail.

It's a very beautiful place with a nice atmosphere but rooms are not the best of the best and the food needs some improvement Walkability: It's a very free and wide area to walk around and to relax

I must say place was up to standard clean and refreshed as we stay 2 nights....only disappointment was breakfast had we known we would never paid R315 for 3 of us to get most disgusting food, coffee was warm and horrible eggs scrambled cold asked fried eggs came back oily, bacon dry watched guy empty plate back in the same dish, baked beans was old and like cooked with stock such a waste of money. Most upsetting those cooks have there are so inexperienced she even said don't know how make coffee. I can stay again but don't wish eat there. We asked for ironing board was old dirty small thing that have put on bed or table iron with no legs, lots of upgrading needs to be done.

Can highly recommend Ascot Inn. Everything about my stay was excellent, from the friendly staff to the most delicious home-cooked food. I look forward to spending time there in the near future . My rating is 10 out of 10 Safety: Very safe and secure.

The place was clean, friendly staff and overall good service. However the hot water was a problem. We had to take a lukewarm shower. I really wish they could improve on that. But overall we had a good stay.Rooms: 3/5

Do not pick the cheaper room, it was like a matchbox, alternatively immediately upgraded, the upgraded room also was not worth its salt, shower was dirty and clogged and no maintenance man on site, replaced the room with another in the middle of the night so meant me having to pack and repack. Wss not happy with the value for service if I must be honest, despite the staff being friendly.

Just great, people are fantastic and rooms and outdoors exquisite Noteworthy details: Well kept, green and relaxing atmosphere

First stop reception not very friendly, he aint made for this type of business. Room very average and moldy, aircon remote an issue, dstv cable loose. Bar and kitchen staff brilliant. Pity other staff not as good as kitchen and bar staff.Rooms: 1/5
