Loved our time here. The apartment is lovely and one of the cleanest I've seen. Lucinda is on the ball and a great help as host and owner. Safety: Apartment is in a secure complex.
Beautiful apartment, wonderful sea views. Free Wifi and close to an almost private beach. My family wanted to stay longer. The owner's were so accommodating, even allowing late arrivals. The staff, Charmaine & Nick are so helpful and assisted with everything. The estate is well run and tidy. The kids enjoyed the pool and games room and played pool to the late hours. It was a wonderful holiday and we can't wait to be back. At 4 Umzumbe Beach Apartment is highly recommended for a family beach break!
The worst service ever in my travel life, if you are black don't set foot...we checked in on a Friday night and checked out on a Sat as we don't tolerate such treatment,We had no radio, no party, but we received a threatening call from the owner that we were loud, and they were complaints, We felt disrespected and demanded our money back. When we asked the caretaker , she said she had not received any complaints from the other rooms, she doesn't know what the owner was on about. Rooms: There is lot of mosquitos Noteworthy details: Treat your clients the same and give them space to breathe. The Indian family close by had a braai and were chatting outside, If you don't like black people , don't accept their bookings, we go on vacations to relax with our own money, not to be disrespected.
Beautiful location situated at Banana Beach, South Coast KZN overseeing the beach. Accommodation good with spacious rooms with self catering only. Gated property and direct access to the beach. Covered n safe parking. Manager on site.Rooms: 4/5
Super Awesome Stay It was a home away from home stay. Everything is as you see from the website. Thank you so much to our host Lucinda, her husband Cornelius. Not forgetting our lovely Charmaine who welcomed us with so much warmth and to the our amazing Armand. Guys you made our stay Spontaneous and the kids didn't want to leave. We felt safe all the time and our sleeps were very peaceful. Thank you so, so much, we will be coming back soon
I will recommend At 4 Umzumbe for anyone!!! Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Everything was there and available to let us enjoy our holiday to the fullest! Lucinda, the owner have gone out of her way to give us information regarding everything that we could have wonder about. The Beach was on our doorstep, and the tidal pool was absolutely wonderful for the kids. We will definitely go again!!

Loved the sea view. Aircons in the flat. Dstv and wifi. Comfortable bed and pillows, enough towels. Save to walk to the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpfull.
