Athlone Saps

Yesterday I went to the Athlone Police Station with a friend of mine that had a smash and grab that result in the loss of his cell phone and laptop. We were assisted by Sergeant Lebowa Hope I am spelling it right, if no my sincere apologies. The Sergeant was tremendously helpful, friendly and caring. Just brilliant Public service. Thank you Sergeant

We had called twice within the hour due to harassment happening at the house, and had gotten no one to stop by. This is the umpteenth time that we called them for help and no one came through, time after time we hope they will help but we end up needing to risk ourselves to keep our property, items and people walking in our own walls safe. I only ever had an easy service getting an affidavit at this police station.

Opened a case for attempted housebreaking, gave a statement and everything, said they were going to send me the case number later via sms, which the NHW needed to follow up on the investigation. Never received case number,. Constable wasted my time and his own time. Very disappointing, wonder how much criminals roam free because of these simple incompetent practices.

Just experienced the most amazing service from the officers at this station! Warm, friendly and really going above and beyond to help me with a simple affidavit... It is people like you who should be leading the force! Thank you so much, Athlone SAPS night shift team!

Pathetic unreliable service. I just called the Police Station 7 times and no one answered. The person on the other side even went to the extent of ending the call whilst it was ringing. So much for being of service to the community!

Very quick to come for domestic problems, but take hours to come for real crime combatting. They will arrive after the criminals have gone , Most of the officers dont know the area at all. It can take up to 30min just to get a sworn affidavit. Officers cant even spell a name right. Its a pathetic police station

2 Officers Maki & Lenkalisi gave us excellent support after we was almost hijacked too them I have only admiration and very thank full

it has great constables with good attitude. they care about what they do for the community. they make sure that they bring what ever matter to an understanding case. my future wife,the mother of my daughter is doing an amazing work here

Worse Police station I never seen in my entire life went to report for my vehicle which is stolen but , someone know the place where vehicle is just wanted escourt nobody took an action Athlone Police station officers are culprits to the crime that happens in the area just waiting for payslip

Reported a case on the 6th of October 2021 but till to date, no Case number. Tried to call but phone line is ever busy. Is this a joke?
