Absolutely delicious curry and rice dishes. Thanks to Farhaan for always consistently delivering on excellent customer service and quality of food. Portions are really big at reasonable prices. Rice dishes - Chicken Biryani Boneless, Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken Chowmein really good. Curry dishes - Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala really good. I have attached pictures of these dishes. You won't go wrong. They also have daily specials on Uber and Mr D like Two Curries with Rice/Naan for around R130-R140; And Two Biryani's for R120.
Pretty bad food. Ordered once before and the food was stale- chips and chicken tikka seemed days old. Decided to give them another chance and ordered the biryani. Not eatable - completely stale, mostly rice and barely any chicken and 1 piece of potato. Raita was a tiny packet sized portion. Definitely never ordering from here again. When a restaurant has less than 4 stars on uber eats listen to it!!
This was the most unpleasant order of food.. burnt Samoosa's which was not even on my order.. The manager was unhelpful and not bothered about customer satisfaction.. definitely will not order from here again
Ambience is good. Food during the day it ok all that great but food in the evenings is really good. You have good options to choose from if you are a Pakistani or Indian. Restaurant is in a decent location and it does offer reservations. The serving is really good and it does offer good desserts. It is a good place to go with a group or a family.
we were looking for spicy food and we gave this place a try, its a nice simple intermate place, the food was the best, had their signature dish BBQ lamb /mutton chops and curry and tandoori chicken, well cooked and full of flavor. the service was the best, very friendly and welcoming. I am definitely going back.
Similar to a lucky packet, some days the quality of food will be exceptional, and some days you'll be unfortunate and get terrible food. No consistency of quality. Rather go somewhere more reliable in taste.
One of the best halal food I had and I been travelling for 15 years trying food all over the world . I had best biryani medium rarewith creamy sauce . They have a good selection of steaks and also sharing platters if you want to try few things at the same time . Aamir was an amazing host who recommended me the house specials and answered all my questions regarding the food. I even got to try Royal Platter 4 people which was a nice way to finish the meal if you got a sweet tooth. Definitely a nice spot for lunch and dinner. At Norwood.
Fantastic service- waiters are friendly and attentive. Warm and cosy atmosphere. Delicious food for reasonable prices. Proper authentic Pakistani and Indian food! Butter chicken, bryani and lamb curry shown in the pic:
We had a late Sunday afternoon lunch / early dinner. All of our choices were individually tasty and delicious chicken korma, chicken biryani, butter chicken. Cheese Naan was super. It was a peaceful, relaxed celebration, with attentive service, just what we needed after a very busy festive season. Management and waiters were always visible. Without a doubt, my best experience of pakistani cuisine, top of my list for a celebratory meal
I just had the worst take out of my life that I ordered from Bar B Que Tonight Restaurant - Halal via Uber eats. It's dishonest to call the food I ordered a chicken tikka roti roll. It was a raw onion and old cabbage roll with a few tiny pieces of chicken. Some of the worst food I have had in my life. It was impossible to taste the chicken because all I could taste were the huge chunks of raw onion. The chips were stale, hard and too oily. Absolutely vile food. I really disappointed and I feel like it was a total rip off. I actually feel very sick after eating this food and recommend not putting yourself through the misery. I was very hungry but wish I had just thrown it away. I suspect they are trying to save by using expired or old ingredients. So disappointing.
