The Smokehouse and Grill

So, we sat down for dinner here last Tuesday 27th June. I ordered the Baby back ribs and my companion had the Philly cheesesteak.. The ribs were alright but a little too sweet for my taste and the portion size was just "okay". Philly cheesesteak was alright too, nothing to write home about though... What I did enjoy was their Mojito which they made to my specifications with no hassle. The vibe is also quite interesting, they had a blues type vibe going with the music which was nice. The service was pretty fast and we were well looked after by our waiter. It also didn't hurt that it was super cozy and warm inside Overall the whole experience was 'pleasant' and although I'm not rushing back I would give the place another visit at some point.

Love the service, they have a bar, beers on tap and it's a perfect spot after the neighbourgoods market. They are well priced and not a long walk from the market. They are also close to a coffee shop.

Oxtail was average no spice at all, had to keep pouring salt and black pepper to give it taste. Service was good. Friendly waiters.

Great Ribs and Peri Peri chicken. The vibe is usually quite a buzz especially over weekends and big sports game nights.

This place used to be the smokehouse and grill but it's definitely still a great place to chill and have a few drinks. It always has a great crowd. Menu is not too bad and also quite reasonably priced. Decent selection of meals and drinks. Nice vibe from the city life. Just needs a little decor touch up.
