Bellville Fire Station

We all have a responsibility to ensure everything is working correctly so when there's an emergency situation the equipment is available and functional...... Now this Company takes it to the next level using the Fire Hose to wash the cement and dirt of the company truck on public roads down into the storm water drain....

On Monday 14th November at approx. 21h18 Chanél Bosman & I were driving back to our University Campus. Driving around the bend, I caught a glimpse of flashing light. Post-inspection I realised that one of the electrical lines near the train track spontaneously disconnected and created sparks. The ground below was dry, long grass and now beginning to burn. After contacting the Bellville Fire Station at 21h21 they immediately sent a call out brigade to the location. Arriving within 9 minutes from when the call was made I reckon they did a fantastic job. According to a Sandton chronicle: “City of Johannesburg’s, emergency services spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi said their standard response time was about 30 to 45 minutes.” Take that Jozi Kindly @Chrisse.c

We have an exploding connection from the pole connecting to our roof. They were here in minutes and staying till the municipality comes to switch off so they can stop any fire if it starts.
