Mitchell's Plain Fire Station

From seeing in my own experience the community of Woodlands deserve all the appreciation an credit for coming together to help fight this blaze if the firemen of Westridge fire station which is 3min away from here were here swiftly the main house could have been saved, an running out of water on the job that's not ideal respect to them for putting there lives at risk but there's alot more to work on especially response time.

Well done guys for opening up your fire house for an "open day". Special thanks to Solomon, Damones and Taliwe for your professionalism, and patience for showing how each truck operates, how a call gets logged and attended to and your living arrangements for a 24hr shift. Keep it up guys and thank you. Kids and Adults loved it. Facilities in good condition. Please consider doing this often to let more families see the house.

Being less than 5 minutes away from the fire station , it was really disappointing to have to wait so long on them to arrive. If they arrived even just a few minutes earlier so much could have been done . Respect still goes out to firemen but they could have really came much sooner, and then also to have them run out of water so soon after arriving.

By the time they arrive, the community already killed the wild fire by carrying bucket of water back and forth - deeply disappointed

I am so grateful for the Mitchell's Plain fire station for assisting my mom who needed medical attention, felt so blessed when a gentleman Glenville didnt hesitate to help my loved one. Thank you & God bless this station

So this morning most doctors in mitchells plain was closed because its Eid my husband then said lets try the fire department and see if they will help us because ise my son is Ashmatic and his chest was tight... We got there my husbant asked if they could please assist our son and the gentleman said yes sure is he with you and they assisted us no problem no question just friendly men and woman in blue and red helping us... And everyone came in to ask if his feeling better now... They treated us so nice.... Thank you men and women at Westridge fire department for accommodating my son ....
