I was very pleasantly surprised. The setup is simple and non pretentious. Very big and fun kids playing area. The food was great, from starters to the mains, my only complaint is that the main course took a while but all the food was fresh, hot and delicious.
Nice play area for kids, but we waited for 15 min and got no service, and after asking for a waiter, still waited for another 15 min with still no service and then left. The bathrooms are extremely dirty.
This was my third visit. The restaurant has lost its German feel and seems to have become just another eatery. Rice for the Curry-and-Rice was out of stock. The service was friendly and afficient. The food was well prepared but nothing special.
New owners don't know how to run a restaurant. 11am and staff is turning people away as he hasn't brought stock yet. No ice, ice cream, milk, breakfast. Service is friendly and apologetic but stuck unable to serve clients. Food is very good.. when they have stock. No wonder the place is constantly empty
Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. Let me know when they have a new owner! Menu is delicious IF they have the ingredients in stock. This time around..no pineapple for the pizzas, no cordon bleu, no tartar sauce for the calamari. Ltd wine selection - take your own wine. Wish it was different as it has a great play area for the kids but for now...its off our list!
This is a usual stop for me in Plett that usually gets 4 stars. Last night the service was great even though they were under staffed. The just was not good. None of it. Rather expensive. Two other issues: - The smoking area is right next to the play area and you have to walk right through it to get in or out of the restaurant - Dogs were allowed in the children's play area
Went to watch the rugby while on holiday, without booking a table. The staff was really accommodating to find some space for us to be able to watch the match. The Oupa's Burger was plain but good. Speedy service on the drinks, glass was never half empty
Kid friendly restaurant with a play area/toys, and outdoor seating, near Keurboomstrand. Local pub food.. the eat as much as you can ribs were nice.
Worst experience ever!! Can see there was a change of ownership, dirty, no maintenance done in ages, bad food and way overpriced. Feel ripped off...... Shocked even!!
Good service. Great play areas for children. Lovely open fire for a winter's day
