"Our restaurant offers fine, unpretentious food in a relaxed atmosphere.The pizzas are freshly prepared, thin based & wood fired, the ribs are famous, the seafood is amazing – oh, and the beers are ice cold. It’s the perfect spot to recharge or unwind after a days’ adventuring.Accommodation: Our en suite cabanas are available as family rooms for up to 4 guests or double and twin rooms. They are decorated in keeping with our "barefoot sophistication" motto, and all rooms open up onto a wrap-around balcony from where to view our beach and ocean, mountains or natural fynbos."

One of my favourite restaurants. Just love the warm atmosphere. And the food has always exceeded my expectations. Cocktail menu available. Now added sushi to their menu offering. Classic whiskey collection that will impress connoisseurs. And all that while I have my feet in the sand at my table.
The restaurant was brilliant. It has a great vibe, and the location is unbeatable. Right on the beach . The room that we stayed in was too small for a family of four, but it was cheap for the location over a peak holiday season. I will definitely go to the restaurant again but I won't stay at the hotel again. The staff was very friendly and helpful but the room was not great.
This is not the first time I have had a terrible experience at this place. The location is amazing but today we waited over 2 hours for our sushi, and then eventually just cancelled it. Even when cancelled it took another 30 minutes to get the bill. It’s the second time I’ve given my number for someone to call me about this and I never get a call. It’s such a pity because it can be a great place. I’m honestly not a person to complain but this is a recurring problem.
Great pizzas. Couldn’t help but order seafood being basically on the beach. It was a little oily to my liking, but the location makes up for it. Kids love playing on the dunes!
We had an extremely friendly and on-the-ball waiter! Benjamin I think... but he knows his way around! Pizzas are awesome. Nice to be able to sit with your feet in seasand.
I wish I could say that this restaurant was any good,by the looks of it,our problem was not an isolated problem and seems to be a deep systemic issue within the restaurant. 1Our food came at irregular intervals and some of us only got food once some of our fellow table mates were done eating. 2The waiter also made excuses for an exceptionally small portion of calamari heads.He also further went on to insult my grandmother when he was told that the fish was more dough than fish and she herself is a former cook. He also didn’t offer any side’s option!He assumed biased on how we look. 3On their salads they placed poppy seeds which was not declared on the menu.We had 3 people around our table that had a deadly allergy to seeds and nuts!It is a health hazard. I hope that issues are fixed, because it is an issue that can be fixed so easily.
Food was good, but the waiter spoiled the whole experience. We as a family aren't "Karen's"- but everything that could go wrong did. Wrong orders delivered, drinks arrived after the food after a ridiculous amount of time passed- and it was the wrong drinks. Coffee was cold- no sugar or spoons served. The entire table has finished our food while still waiting for one persons meal. Poor communication, sorry, NO communication from the waiter, and had to look for him everytime as he didn't circulate the tables. We left after 2+ hours, and the last person NEVER got his food. This, after we even supported them by buying merchandise. The restaurant was NOT at full capacity, and we are NOT unreasonable people. Lovely setting, Lovely food, but Terrible service- would not recommend.
Basic pubby type place behind the dunes at Sedgefield Beach. Pizzas are good but fish cannot be recommended hake and sole were only just edible. Quite amazingly this restaurant is busy... Okay pizzas, view over the car park and nothing much else... ‍‍
Amazing! Best pizza, delicious juicy fish and chips and sushi that had us coming back. Lovely, friendly waiters and all round experience we will never forget.
The deck was wonderful for a drink. I then went downstairs, out the back, with sand under my feet, shade and music. I had my Chicken and Avocado salad and then enquired if I could call the chef out - it was that good!,...and congratulated her and my waiter. The place has been getting some ordinary reviews, and I could sense where they might go astray, however, my experience was really excellent and worth the review.
