Everything was good. The cocktails just wasn't nice. It could use some tasting and adding some ingredients to taste better before selling to the public or maybe have some tasters before we buy an expensive drink that wasn't nice to drink. But in the overall, we had a nice experience and we will be visiting again ! The food was ! My favorite I must say the snoek and patats, the potbrood and the vegetables. The mossels wasn't bad either, it's just a bit oily to my preference, but that is just my personal opinion and I think that is how it is supposed to be served. But I would still recommend going.

De Vette Mossel is an experience not to be missed. Food is delicious right from the starter to the last course. The snoek and sweet potatoe is the best ever. Go there on an empty stomach. Kid-friendliness: Lovely outing for the entire family Parking: Ample parking close to venue entrance. Security gaurd on duty.
Pretty much the best seafood bbq we ever had. We love fine dining too but the view, the food, the people, the happiness is just amazing. It tasted so good and everybody was so friendly. You will not leave hungry and everything is just prepared perfect. Like a big family bbq. We loved everything. Thanks for this experience.Food: 5/5
We almost went to De Vette Mossel as a couple, which would have been a mistake. It is the ideal family and friends hangout and great for making new friends, and we had a fantastic time. The atmosphere was delightful and perfect for chatting. The music and food was excellent, and the service was beyond reproach just beware the divine potbrood, it will fill you up before the real food arrives!. The host was hilarious, reminding us of old legend Tolla van der Merwe. Even the music was Klipwerf Boere Orkes and other pure South African classics. It was the perfect beach setting with our feet in the sand and I will never forget that this was the place where I got to say yes to the love of my life. De Vette Mossel and crew, WELL DONE and thank you for an unforgettable night. Highly recommend, 10/10!!
For a seafood feast this place is a must. Service with a smile and atmosphere was awesome. You can kick out your shoes and relaxFood: 5/5
