Always nice pizza and good service. Always nice to sit by the water in summer and the kids area makes it ideal for families to come. The duo is always best for the pizzas as you can get two pizzas in one! Best pizzas in knysna!

Great pizza, great beer and a great view. Service was quick and friendly. Little on the pricey side but that's expected of the area.

We have called and placed orders at col cacchio Knysna 3 times in the past six months. When we arrived for our first two orders to collect, both times, we watched our pizzas go in the oven and had to wait 15 minutes, when they told us our food would be ready in 10. The third time the food was ready when we went to collect but we discovered when we got home the food was cold, it’s less than a 200m walk from the restaurant so the walk back could not have made the food cold. For all three times we made a point to be there on time to avoid both problems I mentioned above. I am a vegan and enjoy their vegan options on the menu but I would eat there far more than three times if I wasn’t disappointed every time by there service. Disappointing restaurant that tarnishes a great franchise. The manager rectified our issue within less than 24 hours after I made this post. His quick response changed my perspective on their customer care. I met him in person and he was determined to understand the issue so he could apologize. I am very impressed by the response to my previous review and I will definitely continue to eat there as their food is delicious.

Best service ever. We were asked if we were coming to the restaurant when we hot out the car. We were 4 adults a child and a baby in a pram. We want to be able to see the play area from inside so two tables were put together near the door. Was a bit cold for the baby so the doors were closed and we were even offered a heater and blankets. When needing to change nappies the restaurant did not cater so was escorted to the hotel just opposite which had a changing table. Overall experience was great thanks to Alvin. Thumbs up.

Nice setting with nice play area for the kids, so one would expect they would cater for kids, had some kiddies pizza on the menu but we wanted to order kids size milkshakes and they only had large milkshakes? The food was good we had to change our order as they ran out of avo and was waiting for someone to bring it, but the service was really disapointing, they only had two tables occupied and we waited close on 10 minutes before someone came to take our drinks order, that ended up being wrong. Had to get up and call waiter to get the bill. If it was busy I would probably have accepted the lack of service, was disapointing.

Everyone that was at our table ordered something different. Not only pizza. Was such a lovely atmosphere. Indoors was packed, yet service was efficient, friendly and informed. Food was so fresh and tasty. Nice to see such a varied menu.

Service a bit slow but the food tasty

Food is on brand compared to the other Cal'Cacchios I have been to, half-half pizzas are a great choice for a pizza fan. Some seating areas might be a bit loud since it's so close to the kitchen area. Worth visiting if you're staying in Thesens.

Loved the food, huge 50/50 pizza with plenty left for breakfast. Nice play area. Bit pricey but was good experience.
