Thee most beautiful coffee shop/antique shop you will ever see with the most delicious foods, cakes and drinks. Do yourself a favor and make sure to visit. You will treasure every step taken inside and most definitely walk out with something in your hands. Kid-friendliness: This is most definitely not a place to bring kids. I was very disappointed. I usually go there to have cake with my friend and then I take piece of cake on takeaway for my husband and my friend takes a piece for her husband. And don't get me wrong thier cake is delicious but I was told I am not allowed to take a takeaway on a Saturday which makes no sense to me at all. I used to do this all the time and suddenly i am not allowed to...After asking if I could order cake and not eat it and then do a takeaway the lady's attitude changed and she became very miserable...didn't smile once after that and very neverminded put the cake on my table with a takeaway box next to it. I did not appreciate her attitude and since no one bothered to explain why I can suddenly not have a takeaway on a Saturday I don't understand why...they still make the same amount of money...

Very eclectic and a bit over the top for me personally but will appeal to the right audience. Didn’t have a look at their merchandise, but the food and service was excellent and the portions well priced and more than generous. Flowers on the table were a bit much for the allegory prone like myself.

12th April 2023 Again had the most fantastic quiche, cheesecake and coffee at my favourite place Boere Sjiek!! The staff is always so welcoming and there is more to see and experience in this Beautiful Gift/ Coffee Shop. All the food and drinks is jummy !! 2022 FABULOUS!! Always take my Visitors to Cape Town for a wonderful experience at Boere Sjiek... Friendly staff, good food, lots to see and buy. A place to make memories with family and friends

What a beautiful place...Everything i love with everything i want to remember from my childhood...Mamma se hoed tot Mamma se teekoppie...Memories of my grandmother's painting of the famous swan to a picture of possibly my grandmother...only at Boere Sjiek. I went home happy...

Loved the old and new world ambiance. Cheesecake absolutely delicious. Nice atmosphere.

Wow what a fantastic store and coffee shop. Absolutely loved the whole experience. The cake was out of the world!!! Awesome goodies to look at, so much to see.
