Busamed Gateway Emergency Center

In 2016 I first visited the hospital was there for over a month Then again through er both very hands on and fast. Recently I had came back after a very long time and I only see improvements. It's a serene environment. Patients are free and don't have to be afraid to ask or open up to any of the nursing staff. Great job keep it up. The nights were hard crying in sleep after a terrible 1 night experience at another hospital but gateway busamed Staff even held my hand and made sure I was at peace and safe no matter what. Appreciate the great services and professionalism from the medical team that treated me. Keep up the great services

I would like to thank the nursing staff of ICU2 for the excellent care rendered to my husband Mr H.E.Moolla during the periond 18/9-1/10/2022.Too many names to mention but ALL were kind and professional. The dialysis team were also excellent...thank you. Thanks to the doctors who worked together as a team to practically 'bring my husband back to life' Thank you Dr J.Moodley,Dr Y Moolla,Dr Ambaram,Dr Edington and Partners,Dr Haroon Mia. Thanks Rakesh for assisting with finding a Dialysis Centre closest to our home.Much appreciated. Thanks to the dietician,S.Essa for the 10 page meal plan. To the physiotherapist whose name i didnt get...thank you. Multidisciplinary collaboration at its best! The unit was always spotless so thanks to those responsible for that. If it were not for the distance i would definitely utilise this hospital in future. Here's hoping that in the near future a Busamed hospital will be built in the South Basin. God bless you all. The worst bunch of incompetent nurses.... who are doing a job for the pay..... Not for the love of taking care of the sick.... There are no Florence Nightingales anymore...However the doctors are EXCELLENT.... / OUTSTANDING

Beautiful and neat hospital with exceptional views. The hospital has a very relaxing and healing atmosphere.

Hi my mum was recently admitted into Ward A and I must say the treatment was superb .I needed information and the very efficient and hands on Unit Manager Michael went over and above to assist me . Also thanks to Dr Primod Reddy who is an exceptional human being and treating mum throughout covid period not to mention his assistant Kas . The only negative I do have is that when a patient is admitted and has scans and xrays done ...had to wait for 2 days until I asked for the outcome . Perhaps the turnaround time here should be hastened . Keep up the good work Gateway !!!!

Some of the nurses at Busamed delivery such poor service to their patient. My mum is having a difficult time as she's not being attended to on time. She had to wait 2 hours to receive medication.

They will send you a pre Auth of x amount to get approved and once your procedure is done they will bill you for three times the amount even without any complications. No one will tell you why and will be very fast to say you signed to say "shortfalls will be due to you". You have undone all the hard word by the amazing staff.

Food is terrible. Service of nurses are bad. The night staff are better. Some nurses are useless at putting drip injections in i had 2 different nurses Reception i had to wait 45 minutes to be checked in. The linen is old and some sheets the holes have been sewn together.I would not recommend this hospital

My dad, Mr SM Singh passed away at this hospital. The nurses were exemplary with him and me during the course of his treatment, and after his death. I would like to offer thanks with nurses - Irene Selina Ayanda Denise Notile Julie Siphe Surprise Ladies, you were a blessing to my dad and myself, thank you for all your caring words and advice.

Have a history of DVT and was sent away and said I could not be admitted as Discovery would not authorize the admission as my d dimer results was to low how ever I am actually a high risk patient and could potentially die
