Country Road

I am writing this with the outmost joy and satisfaction. On the 30th of November I called about 5 different Country Road stores and I was sent from this store to the next, each time the people I spoke to would pass me to another store. I was so frustrated and annoyed because surely if the system shows an item the store should have. I was fortunate to speak to Zandile Nhlapho from the Country Road stand alone store in sandton city. Oh what a pleasant amazing consultant she was. Zandile took charge and made the process seamless for me. Zandile was able to organise the limited edition bag I was looking for and updated me regarding the lead time. Zandile was patient and never even once was impatient with my demands. It has been a long time receiving such excellent service. Zandile is a definition of customer experience. I only learned that she is actually the Store Manager when I asked for her details. Zandile Nhlapho is not a Store level individual but definitely a Regional level. Country Road/Woolworths please make sure you give Zandile her flowers/promotion.

Best socks and duvet covers, I just wish they would have a better choice in colours. It is always boring white, black, grey, and blue. Maybe one month when they are feeling excited add maybe a green blanket or some weird terracotta colour blankets.

The Woolworths Cafe here is amazing. The food is delicious. We tried the new wings dish and the poached eggs with beans and chorizo. Both were fantastic. I'll be coming back again to try more! Too bad they don't serve their pies here at the cafe.

Massive flagship Woolworths store with great selection of clothing, food, homeware and more. Staff are helpful, particularly Hope in the women's clothing department who went the extra mile.

One of SA's flagship stores, if you can't find it here it probably isn't anywhere else. Head to the sushi bar for some great sushi made on the spot.

Called to ask if they had a pair on sneakers I was looking for. Waited on the phone for over 10 minutes then some one hung up on me.

Closet thing to COS we have in South Africa. Good quality fabrics

I'll go out of my way to shop at this woolworths. It's got everything. Also the burgers are delicious.

They hardly ever answer their phones.
