Absolutely gob smacked! The service we received was far and beyond excellent. Kudos to Eleni Spiridis and unfortunately I didn't get the name of the other lady. We were introduced to the ambassador who was friendly and warm. For those that may experience "bad" service, take it from me, a smile and friendly attitude goes a long way. Once again thank you Cyprus High Commission.

Although I'm grateful to actually be getting a response, unlike many reviewers here, I am now literally being instructed to break the law. I don't understand how an Embassy/Consulate can instruct applicants to break the law of the host country in order to obtain a visa? What am I supposed to do now? I have been trying to visit Cyprus since 2018 but no one should be expected to sully their own record by breaking laws to get a visa. I'm truly struggling to comprehend how they can do this. Does Cyprus really want to only give visas to people who break the law without concern? Are only criminals welcome?

The lady on the phone was unbelievably rude to me. I had called to request a police clearance and she was rather unhelpful. Not sure what her bad attitude was about...

Friendly staff at the entrance, a friendly lady took care of our needs with a smile and politeness. Very efficient too. What a positive change from past experiences. Well done to the Management.

Friendly, fast and efficient!

The service I have received is shocking. I have been trying to get my citizenship and ID sorted for almost 2 years now. They either don't bother answering phones or don't bother replying to emails. When I was told my citizenship was ready, I went to collect only to be given a copy of my application with a stamp through a window like a criminal. I then emailed in October to find out when I can get an appointment to apply for my ID and passport and asked when it will be ready as we are emigrating, still waiting for a reply. It honestly feels like these people are doing you a favour.

They never answer their phone, weeks and weeks pass without a response to emails. Highly unprofessional!

No service. The answering machine's options are pointless and no one answers the phone. I e-mailed and got no reply yet. I sent a message on Facebook and got back a standard reply which is meaningless. Does anyone work there? Short of driving to Pretoria, how can one make an appointment to renew a Cypriot passport? Even 1 star is too much for the total lack of response
