Everything was great, from booking to dinner. Room was exceptional with clean linen, friendly hospitality and plenty of space for my puppy Jackson to run. Must stop on the way between CT and JHBRooms: 5/5

Very nice rooms but the bed was a bit on the uncomfortable side and the air conditioning wasn't working. But then again, with all this rediculous loadshedding, it wouldn't surprise me if some electronics "crash". But a very nice place if you need an overnight stop on your travels.

Parts are being upgraded but the part we were in was fantastic the rooms are big and comfortable and well stocked with a fridge, microwave and a kettle with tea and coffee. The landlord is very friendly and helpful, hope I get to go back.

I am totally appalled by the attitude received by the owner of this property. I found a special online through a booking channel. Being in the industry myself, I know that commission is paid to these booking agencies. I thus thought it would be courteous to call the establishment and ask if they would consider honoring the rate as apposed to me booking through an external channel. She outright refused and told me to go elsewhere which is more in my price range and that I wouldn't ve a good fit for their establishment. She doesn't even know me. I am in total shock that she would chase away business like that! Absolutely rude and no way with dealing with clientele! If I could give 0 stars I would!

Pros: Tidy rooms with air conditioning and heaters. Nice towels. Furnished beautifully. Very clean. Showers and baths available. Safe. Spacious. Good service. Cons: The restaurant was a bit slow to deliver. No complementary soap or shampoo. Bathtub had a leak, so couldn't fill up. A bit noisy at night in one of the rooms.

Rooms are old cupboard doors were broken no bedlamps barfridge on floor you literally have to crouch to access it safety gate has no floor slide, it must be lifted and carried to lock. The establishment really need to upgrade a bit.Rooms: 3/5

Absolutely loved the garden! Such a quiet restful stay. The pool was lovely after a long day of driving in the hot sun. The rooms were clean and had everything needed.

Good for a quick sleepover but not very well setup. Room that we had has a door straight to another room, its locked but very flimsy. Extractor van in the bathroom not effecient at all and water pressure not good. Wifi has aboit 0.8mbps speeds and disconnects the whole time. Staff not friendly and welcoming at all. One thing that it good is you can parl your car inside and there is a lockable gate. Not too impressed.

Not disgusting, but not quite up to the standard expected. Comfortable enough for a basic overnight stay. Small things that need attention - like the fact that you can't switch the overhead light off without switching the ceiling fan off, unless you are above average height; Never managed to get hot water going for the shower; only bin in the room is the small bathroom bin; security gate is a battle to open and close; had to sleep with the door open, as the room is fairly airless.

Judging by the reviews on booking, we might have just got unlucky it was a Sunday. Everything was fine with the exception of the room not having been cleaned after the previous occupant. Dirty towels and rubbish in the bathroom was how it started but it was only when I got into bed when I realised that it felt like the sheets had not been changed either. The bed had been made, so I could give them the benefit of the doubt, but based on the fact the rest of the room service was not done and the sheets had that 'greasy' feeling I have to assume they were not changed. A fan in the room would be a valuable addition particularly in summer. Nice folks who run the place, but with quick stops like this detail can easily slip...
