River Destiny Lodge

Very friendly and helpful staff. I had to change our booking a few times and Jacky was always eager to accommodate us. Beautiful campsite with green grass and immaculate ablutions. They even clean at night. Appreciated the home cooked meals at the Restaurant. Will be back! Food & drinks: Fresh home cooked meals

Lovely place! Just a pity about the behaviour of some of the young staff members after finishing their shift at the restaurant 9pm in the evenings. Woke us up both nights with their rowdinesss & swearing. Had to get up & go speak to them. No respect for the guests whatsoever. Manager didn't seem too concerned or apologetic either, which to me was rather disappointing!

This place is ideal for a halfway stop. They have camping facilities and self catering facilities. There is a restaurant if you are not in the mood for a braai with your neighbor's. The staff is helpfull and friendly! Food & drinks: You will havea fiest of a lifetime in the restaurant. Try their Lamp Curry speciality. Noteworthy details: Kid and pet friendly

Nice restourant with great service. 5km stretch of dirt road to the lodge witch was in bad condition after some heavy rains. Beautiful place with nice views over the orange river. Very affordable too. Great stopover half way to Capetown areaRooms: 5/5

Absolutely stunning place right next to the orange river. There are lots of camping places as well as smaller rooms for the quick one night stay or one could even stay longer in bigger places and enjoy the peace and quite. We camped under nice shaded trees and super green lawn. Everything is very well maintained and cleaned on a regular basis, which is great! Friendly staff, always willing to help. Will definitely want to come back to this lovely place.

We camped here. On grass. Ablutions were very clean. We missed a tap near to us and a waste drum. Food & drinks: They have a restaurant on site.
