Skietberg Lodge Colesberg

This was an amazing place we found on our way back to Pretoria from CT, our room was super big with a king size bed, all you need in a kitchen and a sink, we had some coffee, tea and rusks to enjoy in the morning; it also had an AC that we appreciated because in summer is very hot and very good internet connection; the house also had a pool that we were able to enjoy; our host was very kind. I can’t recommend them enough. 100% worthy to stay there.

The owner was prompt and efficient. Clean and tidy venue. The shower door was very narrow, which could be a potential issue with large people. I'd suggest changing the hinge position. Other than that, a beautiful place to overnight Rooms: Very tidy

We arrived quite late and in the rain. They were ready and waiting for us. Communication was great. Rooms are so neat and beds are very comfortable. Pity we couldn't make use of the nice braai area as we were just in-and-out next time! Skietberg is exactly what you are looking for on your trip from JHB to CT.Rooms: 5/5

Great all rounder, walking distance from the shop. Ideal for a stay over. Highly recommended. Rooms: Rooms are spacious and clean. Nearby activities: Pool facilities and lovely garden section. Walkability: Plenty room to walk and walking distance from local shops. Noteworthy details: Small details like coffee, milk and little touches that made the stay over welcoming and comfortable.

Warm and welcoming reception. Beautiful gardens. Clean room with condiments and even fresh milk and rusks. Lovely shower with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Lekker braai area Aircon and TV in rooms. An amazing place to stay over. Will definitely make use of their hospitality again

Definitely one of the best lodges we have stayed in. So friendly and so clean. We had everything we needed and were assisted well. Well recommended. Rooms: Well we took two separate rooms. Each had two beds, TV, kitchen with all you need, fridge, bathroom, shower, toilet, basin and all the linen and soap needed for a comfortable stay. Nearby activities: Museum, shops, dam about 40km away.. Walkability: Small enough to walk to town Noteworthy details: Very neat

Lovely rooms with a warm atmosphere and comfortable environment. Staff are friendly and on the ball. Even though we arrived quite late, they were available and welcoming. The amenities in the units are highly functional and modern. As a big family, we felt comfortable in the space, not squished at all. We also enjoyed the coffee and rusks this morning This is our third time staying here, and we'll definitely stay again! Thank you to the staff for a great experience.

My goodness..... What a find. Here you get everything and the kitchen sink. Very dog friendly..... This made our trip so much easier with a treasured furry. The hosts are only too happy to assist and you are far enough away from the other guests. Very safe too. Cars, trailers, doggies and humans alike are all welcome and safe........
