Bad place we were there to adopt a pet and all the animals was in kennels and nobody available to help us. It was completely open we went in and nobody was looking after the pets. I would not recommend anyone to go there it was a waste of time. Left there without being attended to. Also the cell number on there website does not exist.
I must say I am rather disappointed. I was super excited at first. My partner and I went to the shelter to see if there would be any dogs we would like to adopt. To our surprise we fell in love with 2 gorgeous dogs 1 mixed Husky and 1 mixed Labrador. We were in contact and communication with Charmaine the entire time. She told us that the Husky has to be homed with its partner the Jack Russell, which we were more than happy to do. We were willing to take 3 dogs from the shelter all at once. But out of no where Charmaine decided to start ghosting me. I called, I texted and nothing. She reads my messages but never bothers to give any feedback. I'm starting to think that they don't really want to give these fur babies homes, they prefer the babies being caged there. I am truly sad and very disappointed in the treatment we have received
Charmaine was supposedly coming to do a home inspection before letting me meet the dog I was interested in adopting. She arrived at my house WITH the dog, literally threw her at me and gave me her banking details for the adoption fee and left. Haven't seen or heard from her since. Thankfully my Happy dog has just fitted in seamlessly and no one could part us. Not too sure if Charmaine is in this for the animals or her own self glory. Very sad for the animals
Never have this organisation assisted with rescue soul's I have referred to them, always too full or no reply to the requests sadly.
Went there without making an appointment, before actual opening time because I had somewhat of an emergency. The lady helped me anyway, very kind hearted and very helpful. If you can, help them with donations.
They do an amazing work with unwanted animals and need all the help dog food etc
The animals are kept in very small cages. It was terribly dirty when we went there. The conditions under which these animals live are absolutely atrocious. Having been to other shelters before, this one is by far the worst. Pure doggie hell! Most of the dogs seem aggressive and agitated, probably due to their conditions. Definitely not a place where I would want to adopt an animal from. This place should be closed down for the animals sake.
Absolutely nonsense I tried to contact one of the ladies because I wanted to donate things and come with my organisation there to help them But she didn't bother at all It is over a month and 2weeks And she is online but never responds We try to help but people are Really not interested
The place is clean and the dogs cared for. But the kennel sizes are very small and there are often 3 dogs in a very inadequate space. Animals should not be kept like this, however good the intentions.
Gr8 that they Dogs & Cats have a chance to find a real home..while receiving Gòód care by 9th Day! Come visit and adopt a best friend, looking forward to your visit!
