Worst hospital ever with bad service, how can someone arrive early at 12 midnight and at 5 pm you still not assisted yet , toilets are dirty, the hospital needs to be improved, the maternity ward is something else , blood is everywhere and the place is unfilty and the nurse that works at Goc has too much attitude and you don't do that to a person even if you feel like you feel like your standard is better than yours. Never again coming here , the experience was the worst.
Some great staff. Yet some rude staff with poor service. Beds need to be fixed, very unstable. Staff wouldn't release me as per assigned time to be discharged. The G.O.C staff were incredible, made me feel comfortable and treated me with warm smile, whereas there was this one rude nurse in the maternity ward who wouldn't let me leave. Very rude and unprofessional. Did not enjoy my time there. Staff gossiping about me in a different language thinking I wouldn't be able to hear them.
Worst service ever, spent 24hr in Emergency with no assistance, Doctors arguing in front of patients about doing wrong things to a patient and that patient died later on... everything is wrong in this Hospital from Doctors to Security staff bad bad bad service.
That a joke. . . Personal DRUNK rude really is there anyone attending to this because when we report it. There was o. We know about it. And that that.
I was on the EMS College not the actual hospital, it's situated on the premises of the hospital. The area I visited was spotless, just cold. Staff friendly. Attended a workshop.
I hereby would like to thank Sister Sitole and Dr. Sipuka at the Oncology department at the Dora Nginza Provincial Hospital for the respectable way they have treated my sister Zelda Gerber on the 08th March 2022. The procedures were explained to us properly; even with encouragement not having to sit for hours not knowing what is happening next or where will we be send next. I sincerely wish the Government will start taking care of the Provincial Hospitals and employ more staff and workers and get rid of Chiefs that are eating our tax payers funds. Thank you once again.
Had male doctors screaming at me and saying that I was not pushing when i had my daughter my first child btw. Some nurses are very friendly and make you feel comfortable while some are absolutely horrible and would be rude for no good reason at all . Would get shouted at quite often . I had to get surgery after giving birth, the nurse who took my catheter out basically ripped it out. The bathrooms/showers were filthy. The only thing that made me sane during my stay here was seeing my family. Worst first experience ever.
I've been at Dora for at least a week now for a simple procedure but it's taking long because I'm given the meds per the doctor's instruction they come at their own time rather than the every 3hours that's stated. Secondly they don't clean on weekends for some reason, there's a bed in the ward I'm in with linen that hasn't been removed and now there's a very unpleasant odour in the ward. Honestly I'm not coming back here again.
Why is it so difficult to get decent medical treatment in the 21st century at South African hospitals? It's absolutely ridiculous. They don't answer phone calls. So best to go in and wait 8 to 10 HOURS to be helped.
Worst hospital ever both my sister and grandma passed away in that hospital with just 3 days of being admitted because of the unfair treatment by the nurses. My late sister who passed on in January 2020 complained to us about the ill treatment of the nurses and them not attending to patients, beating them up and when one of the nurses was confronted she denied everything 2 hours later we received a call that my sister has passed away. After my sister's passing I lodged a complaint to the nursing council till today they've not called...This is the worst hospital ever in South Africa and if you take your loved one there you are taking them to a mortuary. I hope those evil nurses rot in hell.
