I used to think this Doctor was nice. Unfortunately he must have had a bad day, and I had a horrible experience with him. I left crying and swore to my husband that I will never go back. Before the above mentioned visit, I went to him for an early pregnancy scan. He rushed it and said there was nothing and that I wasnt pregnanct. Same day, I went to another doctor and my pregnancy was confirmed and viable. He also told me that a pregnancy is NOT dated from the first day of your last menstrual period. In fact it is. Just wanted to share my experience as he can have quite the flip side after a friendly smile.
My favorite Doctor me and my family we visiting him now and again.
Best GP in Sourh Coast. Does not hunt he really cares for all his patients. The staff is excellent and always friendly. Thank you for being so helpful and the best GP on the South Coast.
Absolutely best Doctor we as a family ever visited. The genuine concern and attention from all the staff is nothing short of amazing. Dr Maharaj is really the embodiment of what the hipocracticc oath stands for. We as a family have shared our experience with all our friends and family and promote his practice. We need more of these professionals in the world. I recommend anyone who needs real care to visit him.
I called in amd asked if it was preferable to make an appointment or to come in ...i was advised to come in . After waiting nearly two hours and watching multiple people come in and go ahead of me ,while i sat there with battling to breath as i had done something to my ribs, i asked for my consultation fee, which you pay before seeing the doctor back. This doctor comes highly recommended and i would have appreciated the chance to met him , yet i will not return or recommend his practice as his front of house service is lacking in organisation and seem to play favoritism. I hope that this matter is remedied as a great many people are not receiving the healing help needed. I myself went to Margate causality and received outstanding assistance from passionate , dedicated staff!
Rude, abrupt and a money maker. This doctor used to be the best however after he became popular in the port shepstone area. He is arrogant and will not go the extra mile. Never will I recommend this man to anyone. God bless him for the suffering my family had to endure due to his ruthlessness.
Available after hours till about 19:30 which makes it easy after work. Dr Maharaj is also a very good dr and have always received the best from him. Started seeing him as the night dr with my son swimming and was a constant patient with ear infections at his surgery.
Definitely the best dr in the South Coast. He walked the extra mile with me every time I see him. He is respectful, staff always friendly and willing to assist. Thank you Dr Maharaj and Staff.

Best doctor on the South coast. Very Professional & knowledgeable & friendly. Excellent treatment at all times ive been there. Im glad he his my FAMILY Doctor.
