This is a good hospital with great doctors, but the service at the pharmacy is repulsive!!! The pharmacy staff do not care at all about customer service, they will be there doing their own things, chatting on the phone, and dragging their feet, there is no order. Worst of all you wait an hour in the pharmacy queue which isn't even that long only to be told that most of the medication on your prescription is out of stock!! I highly recommend their drs, they have excellent pediatrician Dr Ngwenya, Opthalmologist Dr Makunyane, and speech therapist Mtshazo. But my advise is go elsewhere to buy medication, don't bother with the pharmacy!
I HAD SURGERY AT THE HOSPITAL ABOUT A MONTH AGO. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT ANY THING AT THE HOSPITAL. STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. BUILDING WAS CLEAN AT ALL TIMES. AND MY DR EKANEM WAS THE BEST
Went to Dr SK Matseke on the 31/10/22 around 9pm because my son was sick. He got the best service from the Doctor. We went to the Pharmacy to collect medicine. We found the security fast asleep. He could not even see us. One pharmacist was busy on the phone on private call talking loudly. She even had the audacity to tell a patient to sit down so she could finish with her personal call. It really left a bitter taste on my mouth. No respect for patients.
Takes 8 hours for a person to be admitted, service is poor , no updates as to what is happening, the casualty is unclean, ward staff is unwelcoming, use to admirer the hospal but now sorry.
The building is beautiful and attractive. The only people who are dedicated so far is the ICU staff. In the wards the nurses assembly in the nurse station and chat. I am a mother of a person with special needs ,each time I must remind them that she needs assistance. She gets sezuires and fall on the floor in the absence of nurses and expect her to take medication on her own. When sleeping ,she won't be made alert that food is ready. Humanity is zero. The security staff needs training on how to treat different patients needs.
To open just a file takes more than an hour, the last time I was there I even got miscarage while queuing for a file only.
Bad Example even public hospitals are better. The doctors are rude literally waited 4 hours just to get a doctor to attend me. Another 2 hours just for a sick note n prescription. Went there at 17:30 left at 23:03. I'm not happy at all
Execellent state of the art theaters
What a horrendous experience I had. Firstly I was given a file with a wrong name even after the receptionist confirmed my child's name. Secondly this hospital is disorganized, the files did not correspond with the room numbers and the nurses kept on asking the same questions looking for patients that were clearly not in our room. My child was woken up at 23:00 to be given medication, no infact they brought the medication for me to give my child. As trained nurses I think that would be their job. When you called for assistance you were a nuisance to them, their attitudes stink you'd swear that they come from government hospitals and that time we're paying thousands of rands to get the service of being in a "private hospital", it clearly shows that this hospital is a scam. The food OMW, the food is serviced in plastic containers instead of plates and I don't know if it's because we're not actual patients that we're only there for our kids. I'd say that it's the nurses from ward 2 only but it's not, we went for an X-Ray and the energy there was not so welcoming. There are some good nurses especially from the night team. Terrence and Queen and some nurses are great unfortunately I didn't get all their names but the service at this hospital is deteriorating and it's disgusting. There's so much more I want to add. Honestly the staff needs to attend workshops because wow it's HEKTIC, I'm not sure if anything is going to be done about these negative reviews.
This was by far the best Hospital experience I’ve had. From the cleaning Staff, Catering, Nurses to the Very Doctors everyone is supper friendly. The Facilities were always kept clean. I give this hospital 10/10 for sure with no doubt in my mind. My gynaecologist Dr Ntlemo is the BEST. You’re absolutely blessed, your heart is gold, thank you Sir for treating every single patient like they are the only one that matters. May God bless you abundantly. Their food is also very good it’s not the typical “Hospital food”
