Nothing private about the care you receive here. Would give them a minus if I could. Worst hospital ever probably even worse than public health care. I had a bleed at 6 months pregnant and the response was just sit and wait for someone to see you and eventually when I asked again for someone to check me, they told me I should go look for a nurse. ER staff moving so slowly around as if they have zero care in the world. Three nurses siting around trying to capture details of one patient and not even checking in on the other patients. If that's not bad enough, they tell me they don't have an ultrasound machine and when I point out to them that they have a maternity ward they end up finding one but don't even know how to use it. They seem to fail in every area accept trying to collect money. They hey have the nerve to still bill incorrectly to the medical aid and constantly sending me messages that I owe them money, however I have yet to receive an actual bill sent to me for what's outstanding. I tried calling and no answer or response. Please do yourself a favor and go to a hospital that actually proves they are worth calling the title of private care coz this place is far from it especially in an emergency.
This hospital deserves 0 stars, horrendous service from doctors and ICU nurses who do not communicate with family members of a dying patient and all they can say is "we cannot do anything". The "shift leader" in ICU is very rude and arrogant and instead of looking after a patient is playing on her phone when told that her vitals are not looking right. We had to ask her 4 times to phone the doctor before she actually done so! These ICU nurses took advantage of an old lady who was in a coma and stole money from her bag aswell!!how incompetent and unethical can they be?! They are a bunch of thieves!! The women who passed away was extubated 3 days after a surgery by a nurse or physiotherapist without the supervision of a doctor and we will get to the bottom of this and name and shame this hospital and all people involved in order to ruin their reputation! Send your loved ones to other hospitals and not this piece of trash place that is a money making scheme. Give me your contact details to discuss who the doctors and nurses are aswell as the full story as your automated response is useless as nobody will investigate the matter because all of you within this hospital cover up for eachother or shift the blame onto one another! lenmed or should I say lendead we are not done with you!!
I walked in at Lenmed with tears rolling down my eyes, I had seen the reviews and was not confident of the hospital at all, I went there because I wanted to be assisted by dr Lorgat who is soo professional and helpful the guy is walking with God himself, anyway we were urgently friendly assisted from the casualty by 2 ladies sadly I couldn't get their names, they wasted no time on us and called the doctor who was also professional, everyone was friendly and helpful from their cleaner, security, I mean all of them, my baby was admitted at Maternity NICU, the staff members there, sister Nhlanhla treated my baby like hers and her team thank you, from admitting us to assuring me that my child will be fine! I didnt expect such level of professionalism! Thank you all...
Always thought the treatment would be different as compared to the rest Private Hospitals: when your black, your always mistreated, I am in the same room with a colored men who came 8 hours after me in the same room, yet when it comes to meds.. Of a simple pain killers...... It's been 2 hours waiting!
I should rate this 0. The service is very poor. My sister with Anemia and thrombocytopenia waited 3 days to get blood and platelets. That is unethical, now she is in icu, with no bell on her bed, when she asks the sister to help her out of bed, she is given attitude. She does not have a voice because of a throat infection. Recently she asked for help to get out of bed to go to the bathroom, the icu sister told her she is on lunch. She ended up soiling her bed because she has diarrhea. How can trained icu patients treat a very sick patient like this? It is unethical and unacceptable.
My son was admitted on the 9th October by Dr Hari who has always been so good to my children but one nurse in particular stood out for me and made our stay sooo comfortable at the pediatrics ward which was nurse Pearl,she is dedicated,passionate and I thank her so much.
Is it normal to take 3days to get a mri scan and wen you finally get it then it take 8 hours for the dr to see after my dr referred me to lenmed hospital sayin i must go to hospital the same day im in hospital now I am stil
Excellent service! Had my wisdoms removed and I must say they took care of me before and after the procedure. The rooms are clean. Dr Dangor did an amazing job!
On the 29/07/2022 I took my toddler son to an ENT. I am not mentioning her name here as I await Lenmwds response to me first. This lady ENT was truly nothing but pathetic. No empathy not even interested in listening to my son's history whom BTW is an adopted child. But most importantly told me to "just make a birth certificate" for him. Why? So that she could do the op asap as she said is needed. How exactly does she think one could do that. Would she do that for her child? Worst of all my son walked into the rooms talking n playing. But since we left he's 10 times worst as she obviously hurt him with the scope which also costed R700 for literally 2 mins aside from her R900 consulting fee. What a pure n utter waste of both time n money. My final comment.. Whilst brains get you skills people skills get you everything.
Visited the facility's nephrologist Dr Muhammed Hassen, we had to book 2 weeks or so in advance which is understandable since they are quite affordable, half of the going market rates which is quite considerate for a private practice. Time allocation was spot on, no waiting time at all. The Dr was very thorough in going through patient's examination history, and interpretations. Although we were hoping for good news, he didn't sugar coat the real extent of the patient's situation, recommending the most cost effective and comfortable treatments we can possibly look at. Dr Hassen isn't money driven at all, you can feel his genuine concern for the patient's finances and health at the same time, even discouraging repeat visits to his office as they will not be necessary. Very lovely front desk lady in his office. I was worried about the hospital's overall not so good review, but my fears were put to rest by Dr Muhammed and his helper. Thank you
