We were unfairly treated Our bookings was mistreated we drove to the destiny only to find that the lodge was fully booked. We had to drive back without any expirience The guy had no remous whatsoever That's our expirience though
Beautiful area and great people that went out of their way to make us feel at home. A real bow-shoot holiday with permanent archey butt and 3D targets to go and shoot any time. Rooms: Rooms are small with limited packing place. The house needs some care and maintenance especially plumbing. Nearby activities: Permanent archery butt and 3D targets to shoot any time. Challenging course because of long distances. Nice swimming pools to cool off and relax. Recommend the wild drive excursion, animals are well taken care of. Safety: Safe environment and security measures well established. Walkability: Beautiful scenery next to Vaal river and safe to walk anywhere. Wild animals roam freely and pass closeby. Food & drinks: Nice bar and deck area to enjoy a refreshment and look over the river. Self catering food.
The staff was amazing, if I could have give more stars, I would, the lodge area is well taken care off, and most of all the atmosphere is breathtaking. A big thank you to everyone for makeing are stay a lovely experienceRooms: 5/5
Great place for events and just a break. The buffets are great meals. Expect to pick up weight. WiFi is available and Vodacom full strength but MTN very bad.
Had a wedding reception recently for my daughter. The accomodation was way more than expected. Elgro River Lodge also did the catering for the wedding, the food and serivce were exellent. Thank you Elgro River Lodge staff, you created much than just memories. Definitely going back there more often to relax.Rooms: 5/5
Rooms are raining inside, rooten food in the microven, no accessible wifi, no towels provided. terrible place. dont attempt to visit this place. no value for moneyRooms: 1/5
What an awesome place. The entire venue are extremely neat. Nice green lawns. Neatly furnished units with everything you need. BUT the best of all are the scenery. We've stayed in the Berghuis an can recommend it. We will definitely visit again.
