The most useless & frustrating business I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. If there was an option of scoring them a minus 5, that’s what I would give as that is what they deserve. 3 months & I still haven’t received my order. Shocking service from start to finish. Now I am told the order is ready to be delivered, but their logistics department is now just refusing to do the delivery The phone lines never get answered. In my life I have never been this frustrated. U would swear I didnt pay for the items & was getting them for free Terrible terrible business. Beyond pathetic and disgusting service
Essop Randburg, Frustrating to deal with the salesman. They dont answer calls, they do not send invoices as promised. For the prices they charge us, we expect a better service!
Very disappointed. Bought six piece ambrogio couches at Pretoria Essops home Menlyn and they delivered very old couches. I am soo disappointed in this shop! You see a display you buy because it looks nice then when they deliver it is something completely different and disappointing! What a scam! See photos of the couches they claim they are new.
Top luxurious furniture shop. I did a window shopping and I had a great idea of how my house should be.
Very disappointing. Purchased a lounge suite in august last year, this year october, its crackling and the legs are lose.let me also mention that in the first month, two buttons popped off the cher field looking piece. I didnt send it back for "repairs" because for one, they never got back to me after I reported it and filled out the forms, and then after nagging, they said I could be without the couch for a few weeks. Very very very unprofessional. Unrealistic and pathetic
I ordered a table lamp a week ago. The lamp on the website looks so classy. What I received is a whole different story. Cheap looking glass lamp. Not happy it honestly feels like I have bought something off of Wish.
Have never experienced such bad service! Purchased bar stools upon delivery they were scratched. I was assured to keep the bar stools as they were a “bad batch” and wait for the next shipment to arrive and they will do a swop out. The second shipment never arrived and almost a year later I’m still waiting for a refund. They refuse to give me an answer and keep referring me to the next person. Will never purchase from them again!
I wish I could give them 0 stars. Started out great, the sales agent helped me by offering to get my items delivered to the store for free, which was nice. But when I opened the one product at home, it was damaged. So I took it back and asked for a refund. And my goodness, y'all better hope and pray your item is perfect and you don't need to get a refund out of this lot. It's taken me nearly 4 weeks and 14 phone calls just to be able to get someone to tell me there was a backlog with their refund department, and I still don't have my refund. I've had flashbacks of the time I had to try cancel with Telkom - PTSD for REAL. Pathetic customer service. DO NOT waste your time with this business.

The one staff member was shouting very loudly at us when we had a video call to show relatives some furniture. The other staff had no issues and none of the other Essop's stores that we've bought from have had issues before.
