I'm not a fan of Indian food, but this is the best Indian food that I've had. They have a variety on their menu including veg options and most dishes can be made to your preference. Ps. When you ask for non spicy for the kids, milder than mild... It will still be too spicy for kids, so order more naans!! My family and I will be visiting many more times in the near future. Thank you! Vegetarian options: There is more than 20 options for vegetarians. Parking: There is a lift and escalator right next to the restaurant to a basement parking.
Ghazals Melrose Arch We had a wonderful meal at Ghazals. Authentic Indian fare at its best. Do try the prawn vindaloo … the serving of prawns in the dish was generous. Also the lamb biryani … loads of tender lamb in the flavourful biryani. The place was tastefully decorated …. Melrose Arch, after all. The menu was vast with a good choice for meat lovers or vegetarians and vegans. Service was excellent.
Food was excellent, the service was great and quick. Restaurant was relatively empty, probably because of random late hour in the middle of the week. Naan was a bit on the sweet side which was a bit different and unexpected but nice. Great atmosphere and well located.
Tasty food, super portions, excellent atmosphere, and good prices. Great service, too! Ate way too much but enjoyed every bit of it. Pictures of starter: platter for 1, main: chicken vindaloo and dessert: Gulab jamun. PS: You get 3 of the Gulab jamun, not 1!
Awesome location. The curries are divine and the service is top-notch. We really enjoyed the afternoon dine-out

The food was good. Service was poor, apart from the waiter being unattentive, we had to request several times to settle the bill....without it being delivered. In the end, we stood up and walked to the waiters' station in order to do so. The first and the last moments of a customer's experience are the most important....this is basic service knowledge. The manager, who should know this much better than anyone else, asked about the experience as we were paying for the bill....but as opposed to acknowledging that the service was slow, he stated that "if the food is good than nothing else matters". Which simply made the entire experience less than poor.
The food and service were both excellent. We ordered samosas, paneer tikka and onion bhajias as starters and they all were very nicely cooked and delicious. For the main course, we had Chhole Masala and Paneer Masala with garlic naan and it was made spicy as requested. The Naans were nice and soft and we loved the overall ambiance and service. Even Chef Siddhu was kind enough to pay a visit to make sure everything was okay.
I received a warm welcome and good service throughout the evening, even during the fairly long wait for my friend. Our food came soon after we ordered, and in generous portions. My friend's vegetarian dish was good, but I especially enjoyed the rich prawn korma with perfectly cooked basmati rice and naan. The decor is pretty good too.
Food was very good, however the waiter never bought our bill after we asked for it numerous times. We walked into the restaurant to settle our bill, and the manager proceeded to tell us that it does not matter that we had to wait long, because the food was good. Left with an overall bad impression of the restaurant based on the manager's attitude.
