Never a van available when the public phones with an emergency. No patrols in residential areas. Vans are used by staff to drive their wives around town to the shops and back. This is a reactive police station only when there are violent protests that hit the town. Grabouw Police Station lacks a proactive approach to fighting crime and seems to be leaderless and poorly led. Local security company AGRI Watch SAPS seems be the only reliable option for security in Grabouw and in the Elgin Valley at present.
