Haga-Haga is a small quiet beach resort on the Wild Coast located just 70 km north of East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa. The village is nestled between the hills and the sea at the mouth of the Haga-Haga River, where one can sail or paddle ski in the warm shallow waters, or go beachcombing in the craggy rock pools and spacious beaches, all set against the panoramic backdrop of rolling green hills.

We visit this hotel restaurant every holiday regularly for the past 10 years.  This year The food and service is not what it use to be....Burgers comes with about 5  chips in a small plate and the patty is so thin it looks like it was faxed from Johannesburg!  Service over holidays needs to better...waiting periods at the bar just takes too long and very few waiters cleaning the venue .....lots of tables are full of dishes ..  Very bad drain/toilet  smell outside that spoils your appetite.

Hayi mani the place will literally swallow you.  Cleanliness, friendly staff, beautiful environment not to mention the meals were fresh and scrumptious. Thanks to the chef for an amazing meals.  The dolphin watch from our hotel room was a bonus  Rooms: Cleanliness and the sea view with the sound of the waves so amazing  Safety: The place is quiet and safe  Walkability: Yhooo you can walk as much as you want its such a beautiful place to be  Food & drinks: The chefs are simply amazing and the food has been a highlight

Service and food excellent especially after hike from the Hotel to Double Mouth and back...so relaxing to sit down on outside deck..enjoy the sea view with an ice-cold wine and scrumptious burger...so many walks to do around the area as well

Good and friendly staff, place is well maintained. Gravel roads to the destination small cars are able to drive easily but be careful if it’s raining or after the rains.

Friendly people to deal with, staff are equally friendly and helpfull. Food is great. Rooms are wonderful. The great service compelled us to visit again. Will do so again.Rooms: 5/5

We just popped in for lunch and a drink, and loved the rib, calamari and chicken basket with chips - so tasy and tender. Great value for money - with incredible views.Service: 5/5

Brilliant setting right on the beach. Spacious, pleasant surroundings. The view from the restaurant is stunning. And with that, my story ends. The food was mediocre. And rather skimpy servings. One feels a bit let down considering the restaurant is so far from the beaten track.

Best food I have experienced compared to all the major hotels along the coast during the hotel hiking hop. Great rock pool. Friendly staff.. No free WiFi. Rooms have stunning views.  ask about their sea food platter- best ever !

Loved our recent visit.  Stunning scenery,  well-appounted rooms and delicious food.
