If you have been a regular supporter of the Hazel Food Market then you might agree that it's not like it use to be. It's still a great Saturday morning outing with the family including the fur family members are also welcome. Food stalls are the main attraction, although there's a wide variety of different products and craft stalls in between. The layout is what puts me off. There is ample security watched parking available. Not wheelchair friendly. Highly recommend visiting them next time you are in the area.
This is a food market in Pretoria. It has every Saturday morning. It has a lot kinds of stalls: food from around the world, cosmetics, traditional clothes and art. Moreover, there are common table spaces, so you can enjoy with your friends and family. It's amazing place!
Very nice market. Good variety of food stalls and homemade products. Some products are a bit pricey, but the quality is good. Car guards in the parking area. Still a nice family outing.
I absolutely adore this quaint market. It's the ideal destination for a quick 'get out of the house' outing with the family, offering a diverse range of food options and a delightful cultural experience. This spot has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. If you plan on visiting during peak hours, I recommend bringing your own chairs as seating can become limited. However, there are also open spaces where you can simply sit back and savor your meals. I fell in love with this place, so much so that I got too caught up in the moment and forgot to capture enough photos. Nevertheless, I can't stop raving about the chicken soup from the Vietnamese food stall—it was an absolute delight and a highlight of my visit! All in all, this open-air food market left me with wonderful memories. It's an idyllic setting to enjoy delicious food and immerse yourself in a vibrant cultural atmosphere. Don't forget your appetite and perhaps a few extra photos to cherish the experience!
Not as good as the previous venue, but it is nice. I am sure that the stall owner will return. Great treats and plenty of space to sit down and eat. Wish they could arrange for parking on the premises.
What a wonderful experience! Amazing food from around the world, fresh baked breads, raw honey, olives, olives and smoked olives! Such a great family outing.
The place is an absolute gem. It offers a variety of food and craft. The food is resonantly priced. We had the pork belly to die for and Asian fried rice. It offers a variety of food, from shawarma, to fried rice to pasta, samosas, bunny chow. Plus there is a lot of thrift shops. Some sell amazing jackets. From all the markets I’ve been to, this one has the most stalls to choose from.
This is a really great market to go to. Had the most amazing Lamb Pita & my daughter had the Lamb Salad which is now her favorite "go to" treat. Bought fantastic shoes for myself. Spent a couple of hours enjoying the atmosphere. There's such a good vibe here
This is my favourite market in Pretoria! Great variety of products at reasonable prices. Delicious meals. Lovely vibe! And pet friendly. Keep going guys! God bless you.
