Guides where awesome very dedicated to making sure you had a great experience. Feels like they go the extra mile. Tents are great but feel like they getting old, some stains on the canvas and on one corner it looked lile they had been doing some work and still dust from it. Did have some money disappear from my bag but they did warn to put valuables in the safe Safety: Always felt safe Food & drinks: Better vege options struggled for plant protein on the trip
Beautiful setting in the bush with animals regularly walking through the camp. Unfortunately the food and the game drives were horrible… We were racing from one point to the next, the poor German tourists with us could not even take pictures of the general game. The food was not fresh and certain things repeated daily. It’s as if it was just topped up daily. For the price you pay the food and drives could and MUST be a lot better. We even cut our weekend short by one night!
So good. We saw all the big six, and our guide was really excellent. Lodge is a slice from heaven. And delicious food.
We really really enjoyed it. The food was great - one could easily eat until full and some more, just because it was so nice! Drinks are extra, and a bit pricey by local standards, but typical for resorts. The accommodation was ready and neat and completely serviced every day. Electric blankets for chilly nights and mosquito nets for the rainy season adds a touch of comfort to the great linen. The bathroom area is huge, with double basins and showers. The game viewing was spectacular, with a great guide. Not just the usual trivia and large animal knowledge, but a great eye for birds helps to enrich the game viewing experience. We plan to visit again!
If you’re searching for your Kruger National Park experience, you can stop searching and just book this place. We organised our own transport to the lodge and stayed here for 4 nights. The tents, the food, and the entire atmosphere were fantastic. We even had elephants passing our tent. But the best were the game drives. We visited in November and saw the big 5 and several other wild animals by our second game drive already. KK our driver did his best for us to see as much as possible and did a great job explaining everything to us and answering all our questions. He was always in a good mode and up for a laugh.
Everything was just absolutely fantastic! We spent a week prior to going to koka Moya in the Kruger. And my advice- don't even bother going to the Kruger. You will see all of the big 5 and so much more on the game drives as all the game rangers work together, so the chances of great sightings are almost guaranteed. Animals roaming freely through the camp such a elephants and antelope. It was amazing being so close to these creatures without having to feel scared. The guides and staff were all super friendly and helpful. And the food was great. Best of all it is child friendly, which most of these types of camps aren't. We will definitely be back..
We had a lovely stay here. Comfortable tents give one the outdoor feel. Tasty food. Game drives were great and KK is a top ranger.Rooms: 5/5
Excellent Tentcamp with friendly People, good Service and our Ranger Michael is doing a really good job.
Me, and my family stayed there, all the services were perfectRooms: 5/5
If there was a way to rate less than 1, I would. The website advertised the lodge as a child friendly destination which offers activities for children. There are absolutely no activities offered which cater for children. As a parent traveling with children, this was the most important factor for me in selecting a holiday destination. I was left utterly disappointed and wishing I could cut my stay short and get a refund as there was no way I could keep my children entertained. They were bored. What the website does is false advertising. I also.utely do not recommend this place if you are traveling with children.
