THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! Words cannot describe how much my wife and I loved this place! The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home! The lodge was stunning and our suite was one of a kind! The Grant Suite was clean, comfortable, and spacious. A highlight was the private plunge pool! The safaris were TOP NOTCH! A pro tip: Request Ranger Al and his Tracker Reply! We saw the magnificent seven which includes the lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino, wild dog, and cheetah! Al and Reply were so friendly, accommodating, and treated us like VIPS! We will definitely be back to Tintswalo!!!! Special thanks to Al, Emily, Reply, Orlando, & Chef Al!

One of the best adventures of my life was staying at Tintswalo! Alistair, Emily, Reply, Orlando, Chef Al, Dame, and all of the other staff made this such a unique experience. The stay and safari were 5 star, but the people just made it unforgettable. The lodge was incredible and the room was very comfortable. Laundry included was very helpful and I’m definitely missing Chef Al’s food. Bushbucks, bush drinks, bush breakfast, all wonderful. Loved all of the different dining locations from the wine cellar to the patio. It doesn’t seem real that we had breakfast and lunch with elephants. The choir at the boma was so much fun! Every detail was considered. I don’t think there’s anything else I could say to try to convince someone that they need to visit to experience it for themselves. Visiting from Idaho for my first time, it was better than I could have imagined! Can’t wait for our next trip!

Sorry this is way overdue! We were so lucky to stay with you last November. As a specialized travel agent and operator we have sold and experienced safaris since the year 2000. Your property is unique in the older romantic colonial style with lots of atmosphere and one of the best lodges we have staying in over the years. Service of management and staff was outstanding. The rooms offer a wonderful privacy and views of wildlife. Our ranger, Bill, ironically not African, but Irish, offered his outstanding knowledge of wildlife in addition to giving us some of the best safari experiences we have ever had. I highly recommend your property and wildlife viewing.

An absolutely magical & special place of the bush wrapped around spectacular fauna & flora, vast array of birds for the birdwatching lovers. Situated in the Manyaleti Game Reserve which forms part of the World renowned Kruger National Park . Big 5 is always a WILL see and so much more. Untainted and untouched stretches of land without fencing provides you with the ultimate bush experience. The lodge itself is remarkable, main lodge is cozy & well kept, no restaurant per say so guests will have the opportunity of being placed in different seating areas with every dinner. The food is world class, staff are friendly, helpful & welcoming. Worth the trip & visit!

We have been going to South Africa regularly for over 10 years to spend our holidays there. We have been able to visit many SANParks, but also many lodges. Although there are really a lot of lodges in South Africa, there are two locations that we always like to return to. Tintswalo is one of them. on the one hand it is a very beautiful facility and on the other hand you are spoiled like royalty. the rangers know every corner and fulfill almost all your wishes when it comes to sighting animals. if your goal is to lose a few pounds then you've come to the wrong place because the cuisine is excellent and there is so much to eat. breakfast with the elephants, lunch with the impalas, high tea to the chirping of the birds, a sundowner with the hyenas and fall asleep to the roar of a lion.

What an amazing place. My wife and I are from South Africa, and we spent 4 days at the lodge. The attention and service here is nothing short of perfect...we were made to feel like royalty for the entire stay. The game drives were epic, as the guide was extremely knowledgeable and the wildlife was plentiful. Coming really close to a pride of lions, and a herd of elephants was a daily occurance. What an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended experience for South Africans!

My wife and I loved our honeymoon at Tintswalo in January 2020. The service, attention to detail and unique experiences are all top notch. Obviously the safari drives were the best part of our trip. Andrew and Pardon did a great job of sharing their knowledge and putting us in the best spot to find animals while also giving us the time to make the discoveries ourselves. We saw the big five within our first 24 hours there! Can’t wait to go back!

Really and excellent and exquisite place to stay in South Africa. Excellent photo safari occasions on top a lot of animals are just around and wait to be spotted. The offered food and beverages are as well top of the class and the employees provide a very good service. All in all I only can recommend a stay

The lodge is beautiful... rustic lodge with luxury decor. The food is delicious and there is always a surprise at every meal. They offer both game and traditional meal options. The guides are knowledgeable and personable. We visited in June and saw the Big 5 very early in our stay. Would definitely recommend this lodge.
