Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge

This place is seriously magical. The rooms are all detached and are absolutely stunning. They have all the accommodations you'll need, the food is phenomenal, and I know this is a weird detail the bathroom is amazing! They have indoor and outdoor showers that are completely private but you can see wildlife right outside. The safari guides were all incredible and super knowledgeable. We had some of the coolest experiences of our lives watching all the animals so close in their own habitat. We were able to see the big 5 and several other animals. I would absolutely go back here.

We just spent 3 days at Bush Lodge and I CAN NOT recommend it highly enough. The rooms were beautiful, the staff absolutely top notch and the game drives were not to be believed! All of our delicious meals were so lovingly served to us by Zenzy. She didn’t miss a single “special request”. She is an absolute gem. And, with Bethuel and Mfoondoe sp as our guides, we felt like we hit the lottery. So knowledgeable while still being super FUN! Overall experience was 10/10!!

This is most magnificent place I have been in Kruger National park. This is heaven on earth. Everything was utmost fantastic. The food , the Safari, the room, the service , the people and every single detail.

Absolutely incredible trip to Sabi Bush Lodge. Everything was top class from the flight with Federal Air to the pick up, the hospitality and the phenomenal staff, the super knowledgeable ranger, Ruan and his tracker, and everything else! There was no shortage of delicious food and beverages. An awesome trip that we would definitely be making again! Thank you!

The time at the Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge has been magnificent. Right after our arrival we felt overwhelmed by the warmth and more than friendly way of welcoming us. The rooms were on a high standard and clean. We saw each animal of the big five which was an unforgettable memory. Especially the personal made this stay to an outstanding one. Our Ranger Patrick and tracker Jack explained everything in the best way to us and made the game drives the perfect ones. Right after our game drives we had such good food and service by our unforgettable kind waitress Evidence, which we now see as a friend of us. Although many reserves in Africa poach the horn of their Rhinos in order to protect them from being killed by poachers, the Sabi Sands reserve is patrolling their fences by day and night to keep it safe. This is very nice to see that the reserve is trying to keep it as naturally as they can but also protect the animals living inside. A huge thank you to the entire Sabi Sands team and organization for an amazing reserve and our unforgettable stay. I would more than recommend this Lodge and its reserve because of its high amount of animals Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, Giraffe, Rhino, Snakes and much more.. and the awesome lodge area and rooms.

3 nights, 30th Nov-2 Dec, 2021. A great deal of research, planning and expectation to realise this visit to this highly rated lodge; maybe 3 or 4 postponements, as lockdowns hit in both UK and SA. Truly not disappointed. From beginning to end service was personalised and friendly. Accomodation, dining and setting was luxurious and authentic and sympathetic to the environment. Game drives out of this world; left in awe and wonder by sightings and habitat. Wouldnt have been same withiut expertise and company of Doc and Lazarus, our guides and friends. Sincere thanks for helping us leave with such special memories.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and found that the average traveler generally stays for 3-4 nights. Our lodge was beautiful and had the safari romance elements that made it luxurious. Included in our stay were 2 safaris--1 in the AM and the other in the PM. Our ranger was very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. We were able to see 4 of the Big 5 elephants, leopards, rhinos and lions. We also were provides gourmet meals. Overall, service was beyond superb as everyone was attentive to our needs. We left Sabi Sabi feeling like we left a piece of our heart there and glad to support such an amazing organization.
