I appreciate the help you gave me with my MacBook Pro which was having problems after a reset. Much appreciation to the young guy who was on the right side at the Support Desk, he’s patient and kind. Keep up your good work.
Staff always friendly. If it weren’t for the service department and general bureaucracy, I would rate Cresta iStore and iStores in general as a five. Service department is HIGHLY frustrating due to 1 being understaffed and needing to wait a LONG time in a standing queue to be helped and 2 the device checks and book-in process takes forever. It is not unusual for people to have to wait 45-60 minutes and more from time of walking in to leaving after having been addressed and helped by the service department. It literally just took 70 minutes to book a phone in for battery replacement, and then get an Apple Watch as part of the Discovery benefit. Always a pain and would not put up with it if it weren’t for the products.
In keeping with other branches of the istore, the staff are utterly clueless and useless. On several occasions I have found the sales staff to have no idea about the products they are selling. Answers like " I will have to check" or "I'm not sure" and "I don't know" are far too common. And, the "service" is slow at best! I really wish Apple proper would come to South Africa and that the Core Group would lose its agency for Apple. That would be nice.
Staff manager, she was very rude. Refusesd to sell an iPhone 14 adaptor at 16.40. Store showed on website that store closes at 19.00. would not ever go back or recommend the store to anyone. What a disgusting experience for cresta mall which I drove over 40km to get to. SIES.
Bad service I am really sad and disappointed because of the worst service that I got from particularly Koketso and Tiisetso from istore cresta. I was scheduled for a follow-up on the new contract and these two guys were playing cat and mouse game between who will assist me. I waited for almost 30mins without help. Koketso went to an extend of helping a white person while I was just waiting there. I am really sad and disappointed, I even left without anyone being interested to help me, including the manager who interact with white customers only.
It has to be said that I appreciate the customer service from all employees at istore Cresta. Khanya went over and aboard to ensure customer satisfaction. Chantelle also was indeed very helpful. If possible, I'd add another star to my ratings. May the store continue to attain impeccable customer service.
The manager is absolutely great and the service is good. Potty the cover we wanted had a dirt mark and they couldn't sell it at a discount and was the last one and there's only 4 in the country, two which are in kzn and 1 in Eastgate.
I had gone to istore Cresta to get a business contract for the iPhone 13 Pro. I had advised the saleman I wanted to keep my old number and wanted a certain Vodacom package that was on the Istore website…. This was my experience: 1. The package I wanted that was on the istore website does not exist. So there’s false advertising. 2. It took the salesman 3 x attempts to get the next package I had chosen right. Firstly he chose the wrong and most expensive package, secondary the cheaper package but charging the most expensive price and thirdly got the monthly price right but the package wrong. 3. I was told it takes up to 48 hours for my application to be approved where mine took 6/7 days. Back and forth with documents that needed to be signed on daily basis instead of the salesman knowing what forms Vodacom needed to make the application process seamless. I had to drive to the store at least 4 x from rosebank to make sure the saleman does not make a mistake. 4. The worst thing out of it all and is costing my business a lot of money is that the saleman did NOT request Vodacom to do a number swop so I could keep my business number. I now have to change my number on all our branding materials and get them reprinted as Vodacom cannot do the number change once the contract has been activated. I am now sitting with 2 x numbers for the business and it have been a mission and a time waster trying to change everything to the new number. 5. There is no way to contact the store - it’s so frustration trying to get hold of the salesman to tell them they had made a mistake to avoid such errors mentioned above. I’ve wasted my time and money driving to the store to make sure my application was done properly. Istore, what are you going to do about this?? Do we need to escalate to the head office of apple?? It’s honestly unacceptable! I feel like you’re just in it for the money and do not keep your customers first in mind. You can see by the other bad reviews this store is getting.
I was sent to the iStore branch in Cresta by the Clearwater branch, I was needing a new battery for my 7 + as it was on 79%. After all the tests to check the phones operation was ok,it was sent into repairs for a battery, the technical guy found the phone had been tampered with by a cell shop installing a cheap generic battery. and now refused to switch on, and a quote was given to me that I refused to accept, I was referred to the branch manager, who was a very pleasant courteous guy, We discussed the problem, and I was told I would be given an answer the next day as to what they were prepared to do about my problem, Well I can now report that the manager in iStore should be made a regional manager for doing backflips for his customer, thank you sir,
1 star because I could not give less, spent two hours trying to complete a contract and was told to come the next day because systems were not working. The following we spend an hour just for them to try 5 times again and say their systems are not working, its like being in home affairs. The people who work their also couldn't seem to care at all.
