J-Bay Zebra Lodge

Zebra Lodge is an amazing place. The dinner was extremely good. We loved it. The attention to detail and the amazing amount of love and effort the owners and staff have put into Zebra Lodge is wonderful. We highly recommend it.

Wow just wow! What a place to have been! Zebra lodge has some “indoor” rooms as well as “glamps” Glamour camp/tents which are really well done! and the FOOD! absolutely delicious! the staff made sure we were well taken care of and happy with everything! Rooms: The rooms are beautifully done! They have a very open feel they are very spacious but have enough heating options to keep warm in winter seasons Electric blanket/Gas heater the bathrooms are elegant and modern. Food & drinks: The chef! just knows what they are doing! had the most delectable supper and breakfast while there!

Breathtaking. I recommend this fantastic lodge to anyone wishing to kick back, relax with outstanding beauty in every direction. The owners are inspiring and take care of every guest personally. The in-house chef prepared a delectable candlelit dinner for us and presented every course with explanation and enthusiasm. The owners have poured their love and creativity into Zebra lodge and it is a testament to their love of South Africa. The zebras on the lawn are just the icing on the cake!

One of the most beautiful places we have been to! The owners welcome you from the bottom of their hearts and you will enjoy an amazing with - but most important a bunch of zebras everywhere! Enjoy the delicious breakfast and dinner and super modern bungalows!

Our stay at J-Bay Zebra was nothing short of amazing. This was by far my favorite holiday. It felt like home from the day we arrived Florbela and her husband greeted us so warmly, throughout our stay they made it extra special to be honest i wish we stayed much longer. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms are so beautiful and clean. The food was good. The view from our room was absolutely beautiful and you get the zebras roaming around. Walking through the trails we got to see some impala/blisboks they are a bit more shy then the Zebras. I recommend this Lodge it was just excellent.

We were booked at the Zebra Lodge, what an experience . From the host & owner finalizing details prior to our arrival to the beauty & tranquility of the place, I am left speechless. I’ve always said South African food is tastier that some of the countries I’ve visited, Zebra Lodge confirmed this! The place feeds & feeds you until you can’t eat anymore. The portions are enough with a lot of extras. The weekend was amazing with beautiful memories made. I give Zebra lodge a 10/10 for par excellence.

Great guest experience. Food, some of the best I had in a long time. Beats all PE restaurants hands down. It's a passion for the owners, not a job and this can be seen and is what sets it apart. Be sure to try their home grown wine too from the vineyard on the property.

You'll Definitely See Zebras! Florbela and Didier are sure to make your stay an incredible one. Whether it's from their warm hospitality, their scrumptious food or even just their lively conversations around the fire - you must ask them to regale you with some stories from their travels! Whether you opt for the family room, a luxury suite or even a safari tent, the accommodation options are unique, luxurious, stylish and - most importantly - comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely waking up in the morning and opening the curtains to a couple of Zebra grazing right outside our window. What stood out the most for us, however, was their willingness to cater for our Vegan diet. Not only were they more than happy to cater for us, but they experimented, tested and created a menu that was as exciting and delicious as any other they have on offer!

Used as a base for the start if our garden route trip. Great welcome by the owners, great breakfast with zebras wandering round the grounds. Magical.Rooms: 5/5

Very lovely. Offers scenic views of the surrounding land, as well as views of the resident zebras. Beautiful pool and delicious food. Less than 15 minutes from the famous Jeffrey's Bay and less than half an hour from the bustling city of Port Elizabeth. Perfectly placed to remove you from the business, but at the same time allows you easy access should you want it.
