The Jacob Gitlin Library is the Jewish Community Library of Cape Town.
The Jacob Gitlin Library is a lending library serving the Jewish and non-Jewish community of Cape Town and beyond. The Library offers books, DVD's and CD's of Jewish interest, for both adults and children. A broad range of fiction and non-fiction is available, as well as feature films, documentaries and music. We serve serious scholars and recreational readers alike. We aim to be a centre of Jewish literature, learning and culture. We are passionate about books and inculcating a love of reading. General Library membership is free and is open to all.
