Great service, great food! All around awesome ! We went back 3 times to enjoy their food.
A good option for diners looking beyond fast food or steakhouses, Kuka sits alongside other restaurants in case you need more choices. The sushi is a notable option, while vegetarians will find several choices on the menu. Wine by the glass and a range of cocktails. Best to book ahead if visiting on Saturday night.
Best burger I have ever eaten and the mango daiquiri is absolutely amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpfull .The atmosphere was excellent. Would definitely recommend 10/10 , my new favourite restaurant when visiting Hazyview in the future!!! Very close to a few stunning gift shops and the reptile park so if you are finished buying gifts and trinkets and had a chance to view the reptiles its by far the best place to end of your day with amazing food .
Relaxed vibe with swift service and delicious sushi. Highly recommended for those who want quality service in a beautiful setting with many big trees framing the restaurant. Set in Perry’s Bridge arts & crafts village next to the Snake Park.
We went back five times over the weekend in Hazyview! Breakfast is a treat with a wide range of choices. The smoothies are delicious - especially the berry one and the mango one. Coffee here is strong and hot! Brilliant service! The rest rooms are spotless. The decor and art here is designer.
I ordered a meat “platter” and it was very underwhelming. We were shocked at the fact that it was priced at over R400 when the portion size was extremely small. The pizza was ok though, nothing to write home about. I am sorely disappointed and will never go to Kuka’s again.
I really enjoy at Kuka and their service it very good I would like to spend more time there coz that place it's cool
I loved it, although it was cold, but the restaurant was soo warm, with a heater next to your seat, you can turn it off or on during your meal
We visited Kuka because it’s one of the highest rated in the area, but it was such a disappointment. There was load-shedding, but when I called the restaurant to book they told me this wouldn’t be a problem and they would be up and running as usual. Firstly we waited about 50 minutes for our food to arrive. During this time we had no communication from any of the wait staff or management. When I finally managed to flag down our waitress, she told us she was waiting for the sushi, which was a bit confusing because we thought that would be the first thing out. When the food finally arrived we were all starving. However the sushi that was ordered was messily put together and tasted odd, and we figured out it was because the sushi rice was warm. On top of that, the salmon seemed very bland, possibly old stock or maybe because of the warm rice. This made the platter we ordered unpleasant to eat, but we were so hungry we attempted to eat what we could. We were then approached by a manager who wanted to check up on our meal, and when we told him the issue only then did he admit that they had run out of sushi rice and the chef had to quickly make some more. So why would the waitress not inform us of this in the beginning so we could cancel our order and order something else?? Instead we were served warm, unappetising sushi and had an awful experience. The manager on duty was very apologetic and tried to rectify the situation by offering free dessert, however I felt as though they should have removed the sushi from our bill as it was their mistake for not informing us of their error. Overall I felt the situation was handled terribly and we were all quite put off by the experience. We also had the crocodile kebabs which were bland and had very fatty, sinewy pieces throughout. The Peruvian Chicken Espetada was quite nice, so it was the only slightly positive thing about the experience.
Food was fantastic shame I can’t say the same about the service. I found Douglas the waiter to be very ignorant and didn’t ask us if our food was good. Never said a word to us. Never asked if we wanted more drinks. Never asked if we wanted desserts and very inattentive. Can’t believe he works in hospitality definitely wrong job for him. Never encountered someone so miserable as him. Really spoilt the atmosphere. Definitely would not recommend this restaurant and will never return and we are regular visitors to hazeyview and will tell our friends the same. Parking: Plenty of parking
