Was heart breaking to read about the tragic loss of life so many years ago. The many images display the force of the floodwaters and the devastation I left behind. Would have loved to see more images of how the floods impacted the broader Laingsburg community. Friendly and welcoming staff.

A quaint little museum to give an overview of a local flood. The staff was very knowledgeable about the flood. Visitors also get an opportunity to learn about local history, geology and the Boer War.
Interesting and also the tourism Centre. If it's info on Laingsburg past and present you're looking for you won't be disappointed. Don't drive past, stop.
Not every small town has a museum and I was positively surprised how local people save the history for a future generations. It was a big luck for me to meet a young lady 02/11/2020 who was temporary working in that place and who explained me about the exposition. Thank you very much!
Really disappointed. It's just a museum from Boer war and earlier times with only photos of flooding. Really should have photos enhanced and more prominently displayed to qualify for the term Flood Museum
